Answer:	No, this system is not certified for fluoride removal.
Question:	My wife and I would only use the filter for drinking water and use less than 300 gallons in a year, does that mean the filters would last two years
Answer:	The filters in the AQ-5300 are designed and Certified to be effective for a period of 6 months. The base unit is equipped with an audible alarm that will remind you when it is time to replace the filters.
Question:	Why is a battery necessary
Answer:	I just replaced the 3 filters on ours for the 1st time, started beeping about one week ago, started beeping after exact 6 months, with the new 3 filters also included a new battery, I think when you change the battery it automatically does a 180 day reset (6 months) and will start beeping in 6 months, the old filters look like they were doing there job because they were dirty.
Question:	How frequently do the filters need to be replaced
Answer:	Apparently our battery was not working because it did not beep after 6 months. Didn't notice any difference in water taste. But I recently decided to check if filters need to be changed and found out that last time I changed them was 5 years ago! Again water taste great comparing to unfiltered. Ordered and installed new set in Feb 2020 and put a reminder for 2025 to order new set.

Question:	Why does my bath water turn brownish when using this? I used it according to the directions
Answer:	Hello Yvonne, great question, thanks for inquiring with us! As with all media based filters, including the Bath Ball, when first flushing and activating the filter some harmless media dust will flush out that can cause discoloration. This should only be for the first bath or two, we don't normally hear feedback of this nature when it has been used for many baths and believe there may be an issue with the filter you've received. Brownish coloration may be related to Iron in the water, which the Bath Ball's KDF Filter Media will oxidize, causing it to drop out of solution and show a brownish hue. We have a couple different types of filter elements that fit inside The Bath Ball Housing and we'd like to send a model filter that won't oxidize the Iron. Answer:	Looks like the little piece is plastic on mine (on the side inside the filter housing), but I also scraped at it and it freed up a little rectangular plastic piece that popped part way out, like a tray. Put the filter back in and now the light is correctly flashing green. Was about to call Pur.
