Question:	I've heard that there is an issue with the bridge sometimes coming off. Does anyone know if Cordoba has addressed this
Answer:	I've purchased about 80-90 Cordoba's for my classes, from C1 to C5s over the past few years. I've had three bridges break on me in that time, one on a C5 which I was able to fix, the other two were on C1's and were not fixable. So yes, it can be an issue, but the percentage I think is very low. It has never happened to me on a C3 and those are the most heavily purchased through my school.

Answer:	The Cordoba hardcase works well and has a humidifier pod built into it. This combined with the reasonably tight seal provided by the lid helps to maintain the humidity level and stops cracks from developing in the body of the guitar. I've also found it helps to maintain the guitar in tune for longer periods of time. Not cheap ($100 to $130) but should last a life time and can be used for a more expensive classical guitar should you choose to upgrade in the future. Had mine for several months now, driven approx 2,600 miles with it in the back of the truck and its kept the guitar perfect.

Answer:	I don't really know... but... we were looking for a 3/4 size Cordoba C3M Cadete which we ended up purchasing from a different dealer. We were shipped a full size guitar instead of the 3/4. Apparently the model numbers are the same for both but we ended up with a full size the first time and had it marked up before the instructor had had a chance to look it over. Just a warning to make sure you are getting the correct size guitar as they might have the same model number. I have one guitar instructor that just loves the Cordoba brand of guitars and would like to see us buy more.

Answer:	I agree with the previous response that you have to change the nut, but you also need to change the saddle as the bass side is higher than the treble, not much, but enough to cause buzzing on the bass strings sometimes. You can try it and see. If it buzzes on the basses, then you need to get a new saddle, too. Do you have a C5 lefty you want to convert? If not, then just buy a regular C5. Answer:	This is a traditional classical guitar, so the action will be consistent with a classical guitar. The only difference with this model is the cutaway. That being said, our shop can adjust the action of the instrument before shipping. If you prefer lower action, let us know. There are limits to how low it can be, however.

Answer:	Definitely. Steel strings are a no-noon a classical guitar because the tension pull of the steel strings exceeds the design strength of the top. Classical guitars have thinner tops and lighter bracing under the top for reinforcement. Steel strings will eventually warp the top and cause the bridge to pull up. It also sounds bad. Get a smaller scale steel string guitar if you wish to playonsteel strings. Cheers.

In answer to your query about the nylon string distancing at the bridge of my Cordoba C7 CD classical, the span twixt 'E' at the 6th string and 'E' at the 1st string; that distance is just a tad shy of 2 5/16", more like 2 9/32". I hope that helps. Moreover, if you are shopping around for a fine instrument for the money spent, my Cordoba is wonderful.

Answer:	Generally Classical guitars are going to have a fat neck as it is the nature of the instrument. They are usually between 1 7/8 and 2" wide.

Answer:	For a budget guitar you would be fine with this one. Yes it is better to play first if possible. Most serious classical guitarists dont play acoustic electrics. There are things you can do to help this guitar out like replacing the stock saddle to one that is a little taller (made of bone) and replacing the stock strings. This will help with both the volume and tone and is a very cheap modification. Yamaha generally makes good production guitars and has good quality control. Unless you are buying a 3000 dollar guitar i think you will be fine buying online from a well known brand. If you plan on learning classical get the regular non acoustic version. Classical guitar is all about making the guitar produce the tone you want which is not accomplished in any way with electronics. If you dont like it you can always return it. Ive owned both high and low end instruments and have been very happy with mine.

Slightly larger than the Requinto 580, the Cadete is a 3/4 size guitar (615mm scale length). It has the traditional Spanish 7 fan bracing, a solid Cedar top and mahogany back and sides. Additional features include a hand inlaid wooden rosette, gold tuning machines with pearl buttons and a rosewood fingerboard. An adjustable truss rod is built into the neck. This is a great guitar for anyone looking for a lightweight, comfortable, and easy playing instrument.The Cordoba Cadete is easy to play, thanks to the 3/4 body size and 1.88 inches nut width. Answer:	According to the Cordoba website, nut width is 48mm, string spacing at saddle 55mm, and neck width is not listed. I own an older model of this guitar (2007?) and the neck is probably large U shaped in comparison to other smaller size guitars that I tried out like the baby Taylor; but far more comfortable to me, which is one of the reasons I purchased this guitar.

Answer:	My 2 year old loves it. I don't expect it to last for years as he can be a little rough with it, but it's great right now.

Answer:	On my experience guitar could be either left or right handed... The trick is to set the strings backwards... For example: the thicker one is on the top while you hold the neck of the guitar with your left hand. If u want it to be left handed just organize the strings in the same order just that the thicker one is on the top but this time is your right hand holding the neck of the guitar

Answer:	A classical guitar has 3 wound steel strings and 3 nylon strings. A folk guitar has all steel strings. This is a classical guitar. Each has its own distinctive sound.

Answer:	Hi, the right-handed guitar has a specific order of strings and it can not be tuned to left-handed by switching strings cause the distance of strings is different. Answer:	Don’t buy a physical or chromatic tuner; their battery needs occasional replacing and they don’t work as well as the battery wears down. Instead, download and use a free digital tuner app from your phone’s store, if you have a smartphone. Of the three I’ve used, I most recommend GuitarTuna.
Question:	Is the top solid spruce wood
Answer:	The ad for this guitar states "top spruce wood". Without knowing 100% for sure because I am not an expert on woods, I must assume it is a solid piece of spruce. I did research the manufacturer's website before buying and it claims the top is solid spruce. Based on the high quality of the instrument I received, I see no reason to question that claim.
