Question:	is this set compatible with the big rig building set
Answer:	Not all of the pieces are compatible.
Question:	How small are the smallest pieces? I am wondering if it would be okay for an 18 month old
Answer:	The pieces are prettying big, but suggested age on the product itself is 4+. The connector pieces (the plain wood pieces with the three or four holes in each) would probably be the most possible choking hazards - they look like thick tongue depressors with holes in them - probably pretty easy to choke on them if put in the mouth.
Question:	Is this building set compatible with the wood tool work bench? Would screws etc fit in the holes already drilled in work table/bench

Answer:	As this was a gift for my granddaughter, I wrapped it up and gave it to her with other toys for her birthday. I did not notice where it was manufactured. It has been my experience that their products are high quality and this product looked great.

Answer:	I think they are but can't say 100%. My nephew has the toolbox and the pieces look identical to what we have from the truck but I've never tried to interchange them. Call Melissa and Doug customer service if you don't find the answer. They are usually very helpful!

Answer:	No. The construction sets screws & square nuts are a different size (and the threading on the screws is a slightly different angle) and the two sets are not interchangeable. Of course, I realized this after I bought it..

Answer:	They would be perfect as little holders. They are all closed on the bottom, open on the top. In other words, all sides of the cube but one is closed.

Answer:	My son loves them- but has been biting on them a lot since he is teething and the paper is quickly coming off the outside. The cardboard itself seems sturdy, but beware that the paper does come off the outside if your baby is teething still.

Answer:	Yes, definitely washable. I would probably put them in those little mesh bags as I am unsure how strong the stitches maybe but the material is a soft plush and the velcro is secure.
Question:	Is this compatible with Thomas the train wooden cars
Answer:	I bought this for my 1 yr old granddaughter but would not suggest this for a 2 yr old boy. I think he would lose interest quickly. I work in early childhood and recommend alphabet/counting toys or building toys (magnetic bldg blocks are great fun!).

Answer:	We use this all the time. My kids like to build the track to line up with the tacks on this rug then drive the trains from wooden track to rug and back again.
