Question:	Will this work with the video game Rock Band
Answer:	For Xbox One and Rock Band 4 you will need an Xbox 360 MIDI adapter and a PDP Wired Legacy Adapter, the latter of which is about $700 due to its rarity. For Xbox 360 and Rock Band 1-3, you just need the MIDI adapter mentioned previously. The MIDI out on the drums plugs into the MIDI in on the adapter, the adapter plugs into the Xbox (or PDP wired legacy adapter for Xbox One) via USB, and then you set specific MIDI notes to the pads via the Alesis module or use a pre-existing setup that works.
Question:	What kind of acessories do I have to buy to have the set operational? I mean cables, amp and things like this
Answer:	Throne (drum seat), pair of headphones with 1/4" jack or more likely a normal pair of 1/8" headphones + an 1/8" to 1/4" adapter (less than $10 on Amazon. Since this has seperate L and R outputs, I also got a dual L/R 1/4" to single 1/8" steareo adapter to ensure it plays in both ears. Also, I would highly suggest an amp whether or not you plan on using headphones. This thing is very low power and sound is very soft with headohones--plug kit into amp and headphones into amp headphone output.

Question:	Will i be able to use this product with with garageband on macos
Answer:	I cannot get the Turbo Mesh kit hi-hat pedal to work with Garageband. I have contacted Alesis tech support to no avail. When I file a ticket, I get an email a day or so later stating that the case has been closed asking how my service was. In Garageband, it recognizes when I press the pedal, but only momentarily. If I strike the hi-hat with the pedal open and then close it, the cymbal will be choked, but only momentarily at the initial pedal depression. After that, the hi-hat remains open. I have searched the internet for solutions to no avail, either. All of the other drums trigger correctly.

Answer:	This is not compatible with MIDI. I tried it and it doesn’t work with any software. Some investigation revealed that it doesn’t comply to the MIDI spec (never sends note off) so it can’t work with any software.

Question:	Can i plug this into a recording program? such as presonus/studio one and be able to lay tracks
Answer:	Yes. Any product with a usb out and midi advertised allows you to connect and use it with any major recording program (DAW software) on the market today - generally most OS (Windows, Mac, Linux) these days will work out of the box without installing drivers. It will translate trigger and pressure response into midi signals and whatever drum kit or other instrument patch you wish to hook into in your software will be recognized with it. Just be aware that with most midi controllers you will be manually programming which pads correspond to which instrument notes in software - they often don't work out of the box perfectly without a good deal of tinkering to make each pad correspond to the specific drum you want. But there are many guides online on how to do this.

Answer:	This is a great set. Sounds like my $1500 electronic drum set on my keyboard amp or headphones. You'll want to get really good headphones, but this is a great system to start on. I had to make a stand to anchor the foot pedals. And even then, the high hat and kicker don't fire every time. But I felt I got my money's worth. I've since upgraded to a Yamaha dtx-562. But that cost about ten times as much. Have fun! :-)

There are many brands/styles to choose from, and every player seems to be partial to one style over the other, or they may already have these items if they have been playing drums for some time. Roland designed the V-Drums so they would be compatible with most all kick pedals (including double pedals) and hihat stands and don't want to force the customer to use custom, proprietary pedals/stands. Also, when purchasing an acoustic drum set, most all of them do not include hardware, or even cymbals. Answer:	There are better choices for that -- you want speakers with a built-in mic preamp, and probably higher wattage amplifiers. You may also want folding speaker tripods. I suggest you puchase speakers designed for this, with a tripod screw hole on the bottom, and XLR mic inputs. For example, Bose EONS sound amazing for music as well. You may also wish to purchase a good wireless mic. Think of it as a system. The size of the room and the audience determine the required size and power of speakers.

Answer:	I bought the set that was supposed to include both, but I didn't get a drum throne, just some little kid sized sticks. The only reason I continue to answer questions and support Donner and this set specifically is that the mesh toms and kick are so much more realistic than the rubber-ish ones. I don't know why they've never corrected the mistake and sent a seat, but I imagine that it wouldn't be solid enough to handle any serious pounding. I bought a pad that sticks on the kick drum in order to draw a reasonable amount more life to the mesh. It is a great set for the money, highly recommended, and parts can be added, although mysteriously, Donner doesn't sell them, so

While we cannot answer "YES" that it will work with ableton, but considering ableton was designed to be used with a wide range of USB and MIDI controllers, as well as instruments and virtual instruments, it should work. FYI many customers have mentioned using ASIO4ALL freeware to assist with their studio software (similar to your interest) but if you get to make it work using other means, Please leave a feedback here for us here and other customers can benefit too.
