Answer:	Dear Ivan, in air-drumming, you can get rebound off the palm of your hand by using a relaxed German grip (palms facing somewhat down). The rebound happens because the butt of the drumstick bounces on the fleshy part of your palm. This enables you to drum as fast as on a real drum. We explain this in a video we made about rebound. Unfortunately, it is not possible for me to place an internet link here. I encourage you to search youtube for "Aerodrums" and "rebound".

Question:	How to fix wrong drum noises being played from the kit (e.g. Hit the snare and a symbol plays, The kick plays the snare
Answer:	The brain module has programmed sets within it programming. IF you are using the programmed songs section you will get such changes in order to play a certain style. Another possibility is that cross over is happening when a pad is hit very hard. The vibration may trigger a pad close to it. For any other problems I suggest you visit Yamaha's website or simply type in "drum crossover problems" and see if anyone else is having the problem.

Answer:	I cannot get the Turbo Mesh kit hi-hat pedal to work with Garageband. I have contacted Alesis tech support to no avail. When I file a ticket, I get an email a day or so later stating that the case has been closed asking how my service was. In Garageband, it recognizes when I press the pedal, but only momentarily. If I strike the hi-hat with the pedal open and then close it, the cymbal will be choked, but only momentarily at the initial pedal depression. After that, the hi-hat remains open. I have searched the internet for solutions to no avail, either. All of the other drums trigger correctly.

Question:	Can i plug this into a recording program? such as presonus/studio one and be able to lay tracks
Answer:	Yes. Any product with a usb out and midi advertised allows you to connect and use it with any major recording program (DAW software) on the market today - generally most OS (Windows, Mac, Linux) these days will work out of the box without installing drivers. It will translate trigger and pressure response into midi signals and whatever drum kit or other instrument patch you wish to hook into in your software will be recognized with it. Just be aware that with most midi controllers you will be manually programming which pads correspond to which instrument notes in software - they often don't work out of the box perfectly without a good deal of tinkering to make each pad correspond to the specific drum you want. But there are many guides online on how to do this.

Question:	I'm an adult that is thinking about picking up the drums but I have almost no experience with them at all. Would this kit be a good place to start? Answer:	This is a great set. Sounds like my $1500 electronic drum set on my keyboard amp or headphones. You'll want to get really good headphones, but this is a great system to start on. I had to make a stand to anchor the foot pedals. And even then, the high hat and kicker don't fire every time. But I felt I got my money's worth. I've since upgraded to a Yamaha dtx-562. But that cost about ten times as much. Have fun! :-)
Question:	Will this make me be able to play exactly like Neil Peart? Or do I have to spend more on a better kit
Answer:	Yes, this drum kit will make you better than Neil Peart. This kit is one thousand times better than any kit on the market. Beware however; if you want to play as good as Keith Moon, you must drink several bottles of booze and consume mass quantities of pills.

Answer:	This is how I use it...usb to computer to use kits and midi signals in Garageband. It works well for me. The on board sounds will still play as well, but just turn the volume down on the Pyle menu and it won’t kill the Garageband sounds. Then I listen through studio monitor headphones plugged into my 1/8 computer jack instead of my audio interface.
Question:	Are drumsticks included
Answer:	Yes full size sticks. My husband plays drums and drives a truck. I got this for his on the road down time. He says they are lighter than he likes but they worked fine.
Question:	How do you plug in the pedals? We must be missing a connection
Answer:	The pedals have a plug-in wire in the back of the pedals and is plugged into the back of the drum set.

Answer:	I’m not a musician, but this was an excellent Christmas gift for my 12 yr old son. It is really awesome!! The sound is great and easy to start playing. The volume gets loud & you can Bluetooth music into it. It comes with the drum sticks too. There is a plug in for headphones but to be honest the sound so far hasn’t bothered me when he in his room playing it. There was no way I was going to buy an actual set of drums for a beginner. Answer:	not with this set. You would have to purchase symbol mutes seperately ;(

Answer:	2.75 millimeters or ~0.5 centimeters thick

Answer:	The 12" pad will work with the 12" tom, but you'll need to purchase a separate pad for the 10", or if you're not using the 13" or 14" pad you could cut it down to size.
Question:	Why do they smell so badly? Any way to solve the issue
Answer:	Not sure why they smell like tires or have a chemical odor (maybe because its rubber?). It does seem to smell less almost 2 weeks later but they do still smell. Not sure if washing will help but it's worth a shot.

Answer:	Hi Kyle, The reason for this is that bass drum pedals and/or hihat stands are considered personal items for most all drummers. There are many brands/styles to choose from, and every player seems to be partial to one style over the other, or they may already have these items if they have been playing drums for some time. Roland designed the V-Drums so they would be compatible with most all kick pedals (including double pedals) and hihat stands and don't want to force the customer to use custom, proprietary pedals/stands. Also, when purchasing an acoustic drum set, most all of them do not include hardware, or even cymbals.
