User questions & answers
Question: | Hello. I have a question about the product. What dimensions does the glass itself have in these filters |
Answer: | No, it doesn't. I just bought this filter for my Canon 50 mm 1.8 and it doesn't fit. The chart provided by Jonathan shows the required filter is 52 mm. This one is 58 mm. |
Question: | Does the full circle filter have glass in the middle part or is it "hollow" like a donut |
Answer: | This filter will only fit the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ200 lens if it takes a 52mm sized filter. The threads are universal fitting nearly all lens of this size. |
Question: | Do you have a filter equal to sony's rx10iv |
Answer: | I am far from a pro but I think the uv filters all serve the same purpose with just a difference in quality (and price). The multi resistant coating would seem to add the extra quality but for the price difference, at my level of photography, the Tiffen works well. I like the uv protection but my first concern was protecting the lens. |
Question: | Does anyone have example images with the half-circle filter? I searched the website and all the samples are of the full circle and "pacman" filters |
Answer: | Hi there i did not see anything on these coffee filters as far as useing any bleach for whitening i been useing these filters for a few years now and they great hope i answer your question for you |

Update - New, smaller, case designs! Available NOW! Aguilar pedals have been made smaller by reducing the “lip” around the edges of the pedal. By reducing this lip, you can now use ANY right angle plugs regardless of barrel size! And with a flat surface on the bottom of the pedal, mounting to a pedal board is easier than before! The Filter Twin uses two identical filters sweeping in opposite directions - one up in frequency, one down in frequency - to give classic 70's-inspired funk sounds or completely new and original filter tones. Two filters sweeping at the same time give you a more organic, vocal quality and allow you to get expressive new sounds that you can't get from other pedals. The Filter Twin offers unique filter effects via an intuitive four-knob layout. The blend control allows you to adjust the mix between the filters. The threshold control determines how sensitive the unit is to different playing styles. The velocity controls determine the speed of each filter.
- Separate velocity controls for the 'up' and 'down' filters
- Blend control adjusts mix between the filters
- Nine-volt battery or optional universal power supply
- Heavy Duty steel construction

Question: | I am a soft player, i don't dig in hard at all. i tried once this pedal and it wouldn't really kick in unless i played hard. can someone confirm |
Answer: | You need to definitely adjust it depending on volume. All filter pedals are like this. I don't dig in at all either. There is a good YouTube link that has a demo on this pedal by Aguilar and I believe Steve Jenkins is doing the demo. He does a great job demonstrating the sounds of the pedal. |

Transform an average sunrise or sunset into something spectacular or convert a dull, washed-out sky to a breathtaking blue. No other filter has done as much to improve photography as the solid color filter. Designed for selectively adding a bit of color to your imagery, the 58mm Solid Color Filter Kit from Opteka is a nine-piece bundle comprising nine different 58mm color filters- Red, Orange, Blue, Yellow, Green, Coffee, Purple, Grey and Pink.
Colored camera lens filters affect the contrast, tone, and mood of photographs. By balancing and correcting natural or artificial lighting, photographers can warm up or cool down the look of an image. Creative effects are also possible with colored filters. Photographers will benefit from learning how various colored filters affect the look and feel of a photo. Colored camera lens filters absorb or reduce certain colors in varying degrees based on shade. By doing so, the resulting image can look quite a bit different than it would if viewed with the naked eye alone. Colored filters can be employed in all types of photography to attain an artistic feel through the creation of unnatural lighting effects. This is achieved by choosing a colored lens based on personal preference rather than color-correcting capabilities
- Fits any camera lens with a 58mm filter thread.
- This filter is double threaded allowing additional filters to be screwed one over the other.
- High quality metal and HD glass construction. Extremely solid and lightweight. No wobbling or cross-threading.
