| Answer: | As the manufacture stated, it is designed to fit the McCormick Organic Gourmet spices. I love buying those particular spices. I'm not an organic freak, AT ALL. But I love buying those spices because they are just plain perfect for this rick. The bottles are nice and clear without big paper labels, so that you can easily see how much spices are remaining in the bottles. But here is the important part: The bottles have faceted sides on the outside of them. Similar to a cut diamond. Those facets keep the bottle from spinning in the rack, so the label ALWAYS faces forward. Yet at the same time, the bottles fit very loosely in the rack and are easy to remove. You should know that most of he "regular" McCormic spices that come in cheaper plastic bottles with red caps also fit in the rack. Those bottles do not have faceted sides, but they fit ever so snuggly inside the rack so that their labels always face forward, too. But they don't remove as easily as the faceted bottles. When purchasing the cheaper spices in the plastic bottles, you can hold the bottoms of the bottles up against the bottoms of the Organic Gourmet bottles and compare the diameters so that you know the ones you get will fit in the racks. Note that most other brands of spices will not fit in the racks. Even the slightly larger McCormic bottles, such as the ones for coarse ground black pepper, don't fit. The very short McCormick bottles do fit inside. I hope this all helps. |

| Answer: | OUSIDE DIMENSIONS: W = 16 1/2", H = 11 7/16", D = 5 1/2" SIDE OPENING DIMENSIONS: Tray W = 14-15/16", D = 4-13/16", H = 8-9/16" from tray to LED light (these are the most important measurements to determine what fits in it) FRONT & BACK VIEWING WINDOW OPENING DIMENSIONS: W = 14-15/16", H = 7-1/16" FOAM SANDWICH BOARD wall thickness = 11/32" (pretty stiff, doesn't flex much even under max load with ceramic rectangular pots w/soil+water which weigh over 3 lbs total) LED LIGHT DIMENSIONS: (3x7 LED grid w/equidistant LED spacing from each other) W = 7-9/16", D = 1-5/16" (since lights only actually cover 1/2 it's total width plants all grow inward) WEIGHT OF ASSEMBLED UNIT (excluding wire and A/C adapter plug): 2 lbs 1oz FYI: The LED lights only produce enough light to start seedlings (which only required about 1/3 the light of full grown plants), they don't produce enough light to maintain full grown healthy plants. The tiny space isn't enough to keep any full grown herbs anyway because if you subtract your avearge small pot height (4") from the total inside height (8-9/16") that leaves only 4-9/16" for the total plant's height lol! The light source shouldn't be closer than 6" from the plant so just using simple math you can see there's a bit of a problem here, right? |
