Answer:	Gassing voltage varies with temperature. For gel cells it’s about 2.35V per cell. Keep your charging voltage below that and no problems. For a standard 12V with 6 cells charging below 14V is safe.
Question:	I have a 2000 12v inverter. what size solar charger do iI need?(how many panels and how many batteries to get the best output on this inverter
Answer:	What is your RV amps? Mine is 30 amps, so solar charge controller MPPT had to be 30 amps as well. Solar panel watts? You can put 4 solar panels at 100 watts each max on this MPPT charge controller. This will easily charge up two 100AJ 12V batteries. With 2000 Watts inverter, maybe add another 100 AH 12V Deep cycle AGM battery to have enough power. I plan to get a 1500 Watt Pure Sine Inverter for my 2 AGM batteries 100 AH 12V each plus 3 solar panels at 100 watts each. Don't overthink this. Too many variables on amp draw and sun strength, angle, time of year, etc. Just ball park it.

Answer:	Are you sure about the low temp cut out Miady? There's a youtube video of a guy that disassembled the unit and didn't find a temperature sensor. Charging the battery below 0C/32F will damage the battery and his investigation showed this battery will be happy being charged in freezing temps which will kill it.

Answer:	I pulled a 42 amp continuous draw on one of these and voltages sagged from 13.2 v to 10 volts and within 5-6 minutes the battery heated up to about 92 degrees. Made a video on it and put it on YouTube

Answer:	There is a wide variation among values for charging algorithms for AGM batteries. The bulk and absorption voltages typically vary between 14.0 and 14.8 V, and the float can vary between 13.2 and 13.8 V. The 12 V Lifepo4 batteries sit comfortably right in the middle of these ranges. We recommend a bulk and absorption voltage of 14.4 V. A float is unnecessary, since li-ion batteries do not leak charge, but a floating voltage under 13.6 V is fine.

Question:	What the max voltage this should be charged to? 12.7v? what charger do you use for agm batteries with what results
Answer:	I have mine set up in my off grid solar system. I use the commander 40 amp mppt charge controller with the mt50 tracer meter. I set the control parameters for sealed and I keep the boost charge at 14.4, and the float charge at 13.8. I don't put an equalization charge on these because renogy advised against it. I get great results with these parameters. The full state of charge is 12.8. However, you can't just charge them to 12.8, you have to go through the different phases to properly charge these batteries. If your not using a solar charge controller, you need a smart charger so you can set the charge rates for the different states of charge. I hope this helps.
Question:	where can i find the terminal studs
Answer:	Mine arrived without screws, I picked up 5/16" x 3/4" from home depot along with matching washer and lock washer. The bolt length will be the 3/4", the bolt size for the terminal screw i portion is the 5/16". You probably could go with a slightly shorter bolt too if you are only connecting one battery cable to the terminal.
Question:	i am using 17k watt power per day. how many of this battery will I be needed for my power bank
Answer:	Dividing 17 kilowatt hours (kWh) by 12 volts I get 1417 amp hours. Batteries should be discharged to a maximum of 50% to provide reasonable service life. You would need 2834 amp hours of the rated capacity at 12 volts to operate and survive a couple years of the repeated discharge cycles. You need 15 of the 200Ah batteries (or 29 100Ah batteries.) Don't forget that you will also need to have approximately 20 kWh (1700Ah @ 12 volts) per day of charging capacity to accommodate battery storage and discharge inefficiencies.
Question:	Would 2 100ah batteries be better or the same as 1 of the 200ah
Answer:	As far as capacity goes it's the same. However, 2 100 ah batteries would be better than 1 200 ah battery. This is because if anything ever happens to the 1 200 ah hour battery your screwed until you get another one. But, if anything ever happens to one of your 2 100 ah hour batteries, you at least have that second one you can run off of until you can get a new 100 ah battery. It always better to have a battery bank consisting of at least two batteries in case anything ever happens. You also have options of parallel connection or series connection for a 12 volt or 24 volt battery bank respectively. With just one battery, you get what you get.

Answer:	12/6 hours is incredibly oversimplified and incorrect. The charge time will depend on the solar intensity and weather conditions including temperature of the panels, the efficiency of your charge controller and if it's PWM vs MPPT, and the charging efficiency of these batteries (which is NOT going to be 100%, but varies by battery construction and how depleted they are). So, no easy answer, but it will be noticeably longer than the 12 and 6 hour baloney people are posting.

Question:	how many of these would i need for a 9000w solar kit using a consistent 2000w pull
Answer:	Assuming you intend to use an Inverter to convert 12V DC current provided by the batteries into 115V AC current, a 2000 Watt load would equate to about 16.7 Amps at 115v; this is roughly equal to 166 DC amps. To even pull that much current, you would likely need 6 to 8 of these batteries, at the bare minimum. Each hour that you plan on putting a full 2000 watt load on the batteries will require 166 amps; to preserve the longevity of your batteries, you should really only use about half of their rated capacity every cycle; so around 50 AH; so to run a load that large for ONE hour, you would need three of these batteries. Multiply three by X, where X is the number of hours you need to run the load for; that is the base number of these batteries you will need. You should also consider the cabling you will require to hook these batteries up, which for a load that large must be either 1/0 or 3/0 AWG. For such a large load, you would probably do better to buy some large 250 - 300+ amp hour flooded lead acid batteries in a quantity that would be appropriate.

Answer:	Nuts n bolts with washers both flat and lock. Blots can be changed out for longer ones if needed. Great for terminal connectors, definitely not traditional car battery post connectors

Answer:	This is a deep cycle battery, 100Ah (10-hr rating), and though I can't answer your question, I will suggest this: If you are truly interested in cranking amps then you should probably be looking at a different type of battery. Something like a marine dual starting/deep cycle battery (actually not a true deep cycle), or a starting battery. These will be listed by CA/CCA. Otherwise it is a fairly academic question and the reason CA/CCA are not commonly listed for a deep cycle battery. You would have to contact the seller or the manufacturer for this information. I checked and such a rating is not listed on the battery casing for this battery.
Question:	For cycle use it is supposed to be at 14v? I thought float was 13.8v and max would be
Answer:	I load tested this battery at 13.6 VDC charge and got 1,100 CCA which equates to 138 Ah using the 7.25 rule. There are several things to consider when evaluating the quality of a battery and so far I'm giving them an A+. The proof will be in how long they are able to exhibit this superior performance but I'm cautiously optimistic because the terminals are strong and well sealed and the plates must be very heavy due to the 60 pound weight.

Answer:	The owner's manual calls for a 105 amp hr battery. It is likely that you can power it for a little while. However, if you were going to use it a decent amount on a fishing trip, you would likely run it below a 40-50% charge level where damage to the cells start. Answer:	Assuming your inverter is 12V, the minimum operating voltage recommended by the Vmax technical support is 11.7V . I have found that this occurs on my system (which is 12V) at about 40% of the ampHr capacity of the battery (at the point where the usage has been 75 ampHr of the 125 amphr rating). Your 600w of solar power (2.2kw in 6.5 hrs. of available solar power/day) would then recharge a total of four fully drained 125 amphr batteries (down to 40% capacity) in the 6.5 hrs. if all this solar power goes to recharging the batteries.

Answer:	If your camp is large or small you will need to know how many amp hours that it requires to fulfill it's needs. I currently utilize two slr125's to power my small homestead. I can run this energystar notebook computer all night long. I can also run a couple of 12 volt dc lights all night at the same time. If you require much more than that I recommend doing some research into how much power you need and how much you are willing to spend. Watts equal amps times volts. If you are wanting to run AC appliances you will need an inverter. my laptop-60 watts2 light bulbs-30 watts90 watts divided by 12 volts equals 7.5 amps.To run my computer and two lights for a ten hour night it takes seventy five amp hours.Also take into consideration that deep cycle, lead acid, AGM batteries are very sensitive to cold weather and should never be exposed to freezing temperatures unless fully charged. As a rule of thumb always double what you need. Those winter months can be long. Have fun camping!

Answer:	it comes full of the electrolyte gel it needs and is already charged

Answer:	Battery posts are flat require a bolt on each terminal (that is probably the way your unit is connected) zoom the picture to see the make up or take a screenshot and enlarge to seen it’s design.
Question:	My wheelchair calls for a 12 volt 35 ah battery. if I were to put a 55 ah battery instead. Would it hurt my wheelchair
Answer:	It wouldn't hurt because it is the proper voltage. The problem is that as the ampere hours of the battery go up the physical size of the battery must increase. A 55AH battery is definitely larger than a 35AH battery. You can measure carefully and check the size of the battery you want and MAYBE find a bigger one that still fits your chair battery space, but you are better off using the battery size recommended by the chair maker.
Question:	Does this battery last less or longer than a 100AH battery for trolling motor
Answer:	AH = Amp Hours. The larger the AH rating the more power the battery can store, so for the same load (trolling motor), the 100 AH will last longer than the 55 AH. The reason you normally can't just get the highest AH rated battery is physical size. The 100 AH battery is going to be larger than the 55 AH battery and may not fit in your available space.
