| Answer: | The instructions are wrong. Begin by putting together the shelves on either side and then attach to the desk top. The shallower medium diameter pre-drilled holes that don't go all the way through are for the wooden dowel pins, not screws. The larger holes are for the cam lock nuts and the deeper medium diameter holes on the edges are for the cam lock pins. You may need to use a paperclip or something to clean the debris out of the holes first- several of the fasteners did not fit for me until I did that. Hope this helps. If not, you can use a 3/32" drill bit to drill your own pilot holes and then put it together with some drywall screws. |
