Answer:	Tires are fine and do not need air but hand brakes broke quickly but the lower brakes on the small wheels are good. The seat is uncomfortable and the foot rest are for an extremely short person about 5 feet tall so dissatisfied with the product.

Answer:	The manual for this transfer bench says a weight capacity of 400 pounds.

Answer:	The legs and frame are metal (aluminum?). The tips on the legs are rubber and the seat and back made of hard plastic.It is very sturdy. I bought it for my 90 year old mother and she really likes it.
Question:	How long are the legs? My tub is 23.5" tall
Answer:	The important measurement is the clearance, not the leg length. There are cross tubes under the seat so the highest clearance after all the legs are extended to their full length is 19 1/2 inch. Unfortunately my tub wall height is 22 1/4 inch. The transfer bench is too large & bulky to send back in light of the fact that I'll only need it for 2 - 4 weeks after my back surgery. I'm just going to put a 2x6 under the exterior legs (2x4s are too narrow for safety).
