Answer:	The picture on the front of the box was what I used as a guide, then I just tightened the side straps and loosened them as my belly grew. It wasn't difficult at all, you'll be able to tell the difference if it's not in the right spot, I always could. I wore it on bare skin and over clothes and never experienced it moving or riding up unless I wore it over a shirt that was too small to actually fit me and my belly. But that was shirt that was pulling it out of place, not the actual belt moving on its own. Hope this helps. :)

Answer:	The items literature says that it will support 550 lbs. This is a quality product all of the cross pieces are bolted together with stainless steel bolts and welded to the legs. The only thing that is wrong with this unit is that the feet have a plain steel washer to prevent the feet from cutting the rubber feet and these washer rust over time. I solved this problem by replacing them with some stainless steel washers that I purchased at Lowes problem solved. I think that it was less than two dollars and now I do not have to worry about rust in my shower.

Question:	After a few years of use, I noticed a brownish-orange colored substance on the underside of the bench. Any suggestion for cleaning it off
Answer:	The Carex Transfer bench is made from plastic and Aluminum. You can use standard household cleaners, be sure to test clean a spot before proceeding to cleaning the entire bench to ensure the chemicals are safe to use.
Question:	Um how easy is it really to convertible to right or Left hand entry? Like will I need an special tools or will it just pop into place
Answer:	Just pop into place, very easy to do. My daughter did it for me I a matter of minutes.
Question:	I have a very small shower will this work
Answer:	Not knowing the dimensions of your shower it's hard to answer. I am using this in my combo tub/shower for my mother recovery from hip surgery. It's working well. I believe we have a standard size tub/shower combo.
Question:	What is maximum seat height
Answer:	About 23 1/2 inches maximum height. All 4 legs adjust, allowing for uneven surfaces; also you can adjust height to facilitate water runoff into the tub versus onto the floor. The rail can be moved to either end of the bench. We have been very pleased with this item as an inexpensive way to adapt a standard bath to the needs of our elderly parent.

Question:	What is the weight capacity
Answer:	The manual for this transfer bench says a weight capacity of 400 pounds.
Question:	Are the legs metal or plastic
Answer:	The legs and frame are metal (aluminum?). The tips on the legs are rubber and the seat and back made of hard plastic.It is very sturdy. I bought it for my 90 year old mother and she really likes it.
Question:	How long are the legs? My tub is 23.5" tall
Answer:	The important measurement is the clearance, not the leg length. There are cross tubes under the seat so the highest clearance after all the legs are extended to their full length is 19 1/2 inch. Unfortunately my tub wall height is 22 1/4 inch. The transfer bench is too large & bulky to send back in light of the fact that I'll only need it for 2 - 4 weeks after my back surgery. I'm just going to put a 2x6 under the exterior legs (2x4s are too narrow for safety).
