Answer:	I have no idea why so many answered "hard rubber". In the description it clearly states at least twice, that the are solid PVC.

Answer:	If you are asking about a lock for the wheels, it does have a wheel lock. Apply the brakes with the handle bar levers and while holding the brake lever, push one of the knobs on top of the brake levers down and it will lock the brakes on the wheels. To release the brake, just depress the brake lever again.

Question:	Fold easily
Answer:	Fairly. Pull up and out on the silver thing at the front of the handles, then pull to the side, and the handle bars fold down. Not 100% but good enough

Answer:	No. A walker is much more stable for post hip replacement. This scooter is for foot and lower leg injury recovery.
