Question:	I am trying to fit the rear legs of the walker with plastic gliders. How do I remove the plastic fitting at the bottom of the rear legs
Answer:	I have two of these walkers, one for car and one for in-home, using different accessories. The first was purchased years before the first and looks identical to the second at this time except for my rear fittings. At each purchase, I turned the wheels to be inside facing each other to reduce scratching with no loss in stability - easy to do. I am very tall and heavy but fall easily. I can attest to the stability retention. I recall that changing my first walker to plastic, snowshoe-like back gliders was easy by unscrewing a set screw to loosen the internal grippers. Presuming there is no obvious set screw as was the case in my second walker, I changed the rear to tennis balls by hack sawing off the PLASTIC ONLY end and pushing the insert up the tube out of the way. There is enough room for that. Don't cut any of the aluminum to keep balance for safe use! I found all of these operations easy to do from a wheel chair because these gliders are so light, yet very strong. You do need good hand and some arm strength, however. I hope your replacements have an accessible set screw protected enough to avoid wear damage. Plastic gliders need inspection and timely change to avoid damage to floors or tripping up outside. If they go too long without replacement, the set screw can be damaged, fouling replacement - as will your floors. Max self sufficiency is always the goal for old fuds.

Answer:	I believe so. I'm 5'10 1/2 and I see that this walker could go up another four notches (holes) so I believe it would be a comfortable fit for your Dad. Another nice feature about it is that it is constructed in such a way as to make you stand up tall more comfortably than some walkers I've seen so I feel good walking in it. Hope this helps. I'm 75 and it's working well for me.

Answer:	Left to right legs only (not wheels) approx 21 1/2. If wheels are mounted on outside then width is 25 1/4. By the way, it is very easy to change the set up to have the wheels on the outside (for extra stability) or on the inside (for narrow doorways). The legs inserts at the bottom just revolve. Front to back at the bottom is 16 ( not including where wheels stick a little forward of the legs) and at the top by the handle, from front to back is 10 1/2.

I just put the original plugs in and they don’t work well on carpet either... the walker bounces & jumps along the carpet. So far, I am not very happy & may return it if I can’t get it right. My mother is 96 so bouncing up & down just won’t work!

Answer:	I just measured ours. Evidently others have taken dimensions across the top of the walker. It is widest at the bottom. The front legs, from the outer sides of the rubber tips, are 22-½ inches apart. The back legs, again from the outer sides of the rubber tips, are 24" apart. We didn't try the wheels that are included with the package. Again, it met our needs very well.

Answer:	Yes, the Drive Medical Nitro comes fully assembled - just pull it out of the box and it's ready to go!! It is very well made and very sturdy - excellent quality. The large front wheels are excellent for navigating over bumps in the sidewalk or indoor thresholds. It comes in three sizes and you should select the height that works best for you as the seat is not adjustable. I mention this as my mother is quite short and the seat height on the Medium size rollator was too high and not as comfortable so we returned it for the shorter version which was a perfect fit for her. The handles are adjustable though. The bag, which is included, is very handy and large enough to stow a purse and other items. You may want to find a clip-on attachment if you want some sort of cup holder. We would always get compliments and interest in the Drive Medical Nitro Rollator on outings - we were very impressed with the quality and function it as well as others who saw it. It also supports up to 300 pounds where other rollators support up to 200 - 250 pounds, which I thought was another indication of durability and quality. They also have a choice of colors and my mother chose the black. Good luck with your selection process! It's an important decision.
Question:	What is the shipping box dimension and weight? I am wondering if I check it in as a luggage in a flight
Answer:	Probably. They come in sizes. My husband is 5'8" so the small was wrong size. We ended up with the medium.

Answer:	You can get rubber caps or skis from Walgreens or from Amazon.
Question:	Does this walker arrive assembled
Answer:	This walker does not come assembled. It requires very minimal assembly.
Question:	The instructions say to put wheesl on the outside. Has anyone tried putting them on the inside? I'd like to save on width
Answer:	No. I have never seen them on the inside. My guess is stability will not be as good. Which could result in injury. Always follow instructions is my experience.
Question:	What is the width of the legs
Answer:	Outside of back legs at bottom 22 3/4". Outside of front legs including wheels 21 1/4". Top front at widest point 19 3/4". Top rear at widest point 20 1/2" . Hope this helps.
