Answer:	This product can be used for 'most' toilets either standard or elongated. The locking mechanism in the front will secure it to the front of the bowl.

Answer:	Yes, at least mine does just fine on my American Standard 2 piece (2 piece only that the water tank is connected to the lower bowl and it is attached with two bolts and rubber seals to prevent leaking, which is pretty standard). It just pins the back of the plastic seat riser under the back lip of porcelain by twisting the knob on a plastic shaft with rubber on it, to wedge it solidly. It is IDENTICAL but much cheaper than the Vive.

Answer:	5 inches high. It works fine on an elongated toilet. I have a large one and have used this riser for 5 months. It has about a 1 1/2 inch lip that fits inside the bowl. I placed each stick-on foam pad on each side of this lip. Some I cut in half to make them thicker for the sides and back. This stopped any movement. Keep them pressed on and after a week they stay stuck. I remove the riser and wipe with a piece of toilet paper after each use. Mainly just water. Works great.
Question:	Worked perfectly, can it be recycled or off to the dump it goes
Answer:	I can do it, but not without a problem. You only have a 9" hole If you scoot back so that you have enough room in the front, you end up making a mess in the back. If you scoot forward to keep from making a mess in the back, you will have trouble in the front. I truly do not understand this design. It is not man-friendly!

Answer:	If the flange is the hard plastic round thing that secures this item to the toilet, it is 1/2 inches and doesn't move when I sit down. I only have 1 leg and I lower myself from a walker. I feel very safe that this item won't move and send me toppling.

Answer:	The socks stretch. I wear a 6 and my mother wears a 9, they fit us both equally well. They are machine washable however it's best to air dry. As far as lasting four months, we've only had them about a month. I've washed them several times and they still look and fit like new.

Remove Product from The Carton

Remove the seat with E-Z Lock and two padded arm rests from the box.

Attach Adjustable Arms

Attach the right and left arm to the raised toilet seat base.

• Use the inner holes for an 18" arm rest width
• Use the outer holes for a 20" arm rest width

Note: You may use this seat without the armrests.

Place on Your Toilet Bowl

• Lift both the toilet seat and lid to expose the bowl rim
• Place the assembled E-Z Lock Raised Toilet Seat onto the toilet bowl rim

Tighten the E-Z Lock

• Using the E-Z Lock knob in front, twist until the inner clamp has a firm grip on the inside of the bowl.

Note: Do Not over tighten.

Answer:	This chair does NOT fold. You can easily dissemble, but not just fold it up and go. The directions also do not give instruction to fold it up. I would return this but will not because it looks like a very good toilet riser, just wish it did for for travel.

Question:	Can the riser have a lid you can open and close
Answer:	If you have a elongated toilet, it works for a taller person , I am 5-10 and it was to high for me. If you have a round toilet , it should be fine . You can not close the lid when it is connected to the toilet .

Answer:	Maybe. Ours was used, without attaching it, on top of the elongated toilet bowl seat, and so if where you are visiting has an elongated toilet seat, you may be able to use it.
Question:	Can the original toilet seat & cover remain on the toilet with this raised seat in place?. How easy is it to put on and take off
Answer:	The original toilet seat has to stay in place, and you need to uncover it. The cover can stay in place but without using it for covering the toilet as it will not be possible. Very easy to put on and take off.
Question:	Does the Drive 6 inch raised toilet seat fit both round bowls and elongated bowls
Answer:	My only experience is with a slightly elongated bowl. As long as the round bowl diameter is as large, or larger than the fore-aft dimension of the Drive it should work well. The two adjustable clamps on the Drive hold the device firmly on the bowl.

Answer:	Less - width is 13 3/4" from side to side as it sits on top of toilet bowl. Including arms width is 21 1/4" wide. Hope this helps.
Question:	My elongated toilet has a 16" hole; can someone assure me that this will fit without rocking
Answer:	If my memory is correct it has no latch on the lip. What it has is long bolts that go through the back and your seat sits on top. I sent mine back. Not because of that because it was too high for my mother

Answer:	Have you searched Amazon? That's where I purchased mine. I haven't looked for the standard type because the toilets in 3 my bathrooms are all elongated.

Answer:	While the paper work and the website say that you can use your existing seat and cover assembly, that is only "kind of" true. The long bolts for the seat riser are designed to pass through the seat hinge, and if you have a new "click to connect" or "flip to lock" seat hinge, it will not work. You must use a old style seat hinge set up that has bolt holes in it. I end up using a seat assembly with a plastic hinge to make it easier to drill out the bolt hole to accommodate the large lag bolts that are supplied with the Vive seat riser assembly. If you have an older seat set up, it will probably work just fine, but if you have a modern seat with the quick disconnect feature, it will not work. All that said, even with having to get a new cheap $19.95 toilet seat to go with this , it only took about 15 minutes to install, and once installed, it is quite sturdy.
