Question:	Should a grab bar be mounted vertically or horizontally, or does it matter
Answer:	Hi Martin, in my case, I needed the bar mounted horizontally, so if my hand slipped at one point, I could slide it on across the bar. The best answer is to decide which works best for you. Even an angle mount is popular in some applications. Mine also doubles as a towel bar, so I mounted it horizontally. Now, structurally, it's going to be the same...find the stud...and if needed, use the mounting kit..(priced separately, but worth it.) Hope this helps!

Instructions: To Install: 1. Clean the mounting surface and suction cups with a damp cloth. 2. Flip levers up. 3. Press dual suction cups firmly against a smooth, flat, non porous surface. 4. Flip levers down on each end of the suction handle. 5. Check that indicator shows fully greed (not red). 6. Manually test the adhesion to the surface - if loose, reposition and re-attach. Question:	Will these suction to finished wood
Answer:	I do not have marble so the surface is not the same. I live in an apartment and think the shower is some sort of polyproplene. My son put mine on the shower for me. We first cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol and wiped down with paper towel. Did you prepare the surface? I have used them since November 2019 and he has had to replace both of the one time for me (at different times) . Each time, I had pushed downward as I was standing in the tub and leaned on it to wash the bottoms of my feet. Normal use of using it as an assist to get in and out does not seem to disturb the seal.
Question:	Will this work on rectangular shower tiles
Answer:	No, it can't be left on permanently. It must be removed and reattached every two weeks (according to the directions that came in the box). But I found it doesn't stay attached that long. It also says it should NOT be used as a grab bar (as stated) but only as a balance bar.

Question:	What’s the distance between mounting holes from end to end
Answer:	That depends upon which bar length you chose. I have four different lengths installed in two bathrooms. Measure from the center of the outermost holes. Measure twice, drill once. I drilled one hole to ensure purchase in a stud, then screwed that end lightly, then measured and marked the other five holes.
Question:	Are the screws a phillips head, hex head or slotted? is there a cover
Answer:	They are Phillips head, long enough for stability but very soft metal and strip easily. Go gently when using power. There are no covers but the screws are not noticeable. We have them as hand rails, safety handles, etc for our 100 year old parents. They work better than the thicker ones wit no texture.
Question:	Can the rail be installed on to plastic textured one piece shower stalls
Answer:	Don't Know, I would think so with proper installation.
Question:	Can it be installed in tile shower wall
Answer:	Yes. Wedid ours in tiles shower. However, you must use a special drill bit for tile. Otherwise no issues, mounted great.
Question:	I would need to place this opposite the toilet. However, on that wall is a window. Can this go below the window? There's 40.5" of space below it
Answer:	40.5" will be too tight to mount the bar and the included bezels which cover the hardware. We have found that the bar is most effective when mounted at approx chest level height which allows the user to pull themselves up and lower themselves down onto the toilet or tub, if you plan to mount it lower then it is possible that it may not be as effective. We also installed the full height tension bar in another room and noticed that it would also be good for the bathroom if you have enough clearance. Cheers!

Answer:	Yes. There is a lever where you can lock it in place safely.
Question:	Do you think this can be used in a bedroom across from the bed when you're sitting to get up
Answer:	It can be used anywhere that you can install it securely and reach it safely. It should be very close to where it is needed. The long Stander pole that is stabilized to floor and ceiling might work better since it does not need a wall for installation.
Question:	I am thinking about this grab bar for my mom is big 250lbs lives in a modular home would this be sturdy enough mounted to a wall to support her
Answer:	Maybe. Mount it securely. Ours was also used in a modular home installation. They reinforced the bathroom wall (inside wall cavity) with one or two 2 by 4 crossmembers. The bar works very well.
