Answer:	As far as I can tell it is true to what it says "Stainless Steel". I do believe that makes it basically rust proof. The one I installed still looks new and I ALWAYS spray my whole shower with the after shower spray. The only problem I had with this hand grip was the molly bolts sent with the installation package. Did not work at all in my shower, and I used my own heavier duty mollies which really sealed it down very tight. House will fall before hand grips could come loose!

Answer:	Mine appears to be well covered with what appears to be enamel paint on all exposed surfaces, so unless the surface is nicked somehow, and the paint damaged, then I doubt it could rust. Plus, unless you fill the bathtub with water and never empty it, so it leaves the base of the grab bar constantly submerged, (?) should not be an issue.

I was going to go with only 3 panels and tie one in the center but my husband objected (oh no it blocks the light! grr lol!) maybe your family would be more open to that? Either way, you definitely need to get 2 packs as the grommets have a tendency to slide on the rod so one pair wouldn't stay pulled closed. Answer:	There is very little adjustment in the clamping part of the devise. If this is like the old claw foot tub, I dough it would work. Good luck.

Answer:	I dont know of anything specifically you can use to cover the edges, however they are not sharp and shouldnt pose any issues.

Answer:	I don't believe it will open enough to fit on a corner.
Question:	Why can't this device be used on a fiberglass tub
Answer:	I suspect it is not recommended for fiberglass tub because fiberglass tub walls tend to be not as solid as steel tub walls, thus the clamp might not be able to grab tight enough to the tub, which will increase chances of the tub rail slipping when someone puts much weight on it. There is a chance of damaging/cracking the fiberglass tub wall as well. If you use this with a fiberglass tub, keep in mind you are using it in a way that it is not designed for and the manufacture has warned against using it that way.

Question:	What size drill bit do I need for drilling the tile
Answer:	Ray, If bar is being mounted to wooden wall studs, hole in tile should be large enough for the fastener to pass through. You want the fastener to pull against the wood & not the tile, which you may break. If mounting with plastic anchors start with a 3/16” bit & perhaps enlarge with a screw driver to achieve a tight fit.

Answer:	It’ll initially suction but it won’t last since any wood is porous even if it’s finished or varnished. You can only use this bar for assist or balance. There’s a warning not to use it to pull one’s self up from the tub. That’s dangerous.
Question:	will this work on a regular wall to help get out of a low bed
Answer:	Should work if surface is clean & flat.
Question:	Will this work on 4" tiles
Answer:	did you ever find one with a smaller suction cup? I need that for my subway tiled bathroom.
Question:	how long does it stay on the wall once secured
Answer:	This will work like all suction cups. If the surface is not flat, smooth & clean, the suction cup will not be able to create the vacuum it needs to maintain a solid grip to the surface. The surface does not need to be "Glossy" as it needs to be smooth, flat and free of debris. I hope this helps.
