Answer:	I've been using these belts for over five years with no failures or complaints. My experience with this product gives me no reason to believe that they are not genuine. They arrived in genuine Porter+Cable packaging and fit the model 371K sander perfectly. The inside of the belts show a direction arrow, grit size and the number 1242; but, do not have a Porter+Cable trade mark. I can find no photos on line of genuine Porter+Cable belts that show the inside markings or corelate the number 1242 with Porter+Cable.

Answer:	No, it's not, unless yours is defective? The cord on mine is about 28 inches long...plenty of length, and the coiling cord storage is a really nice feature! I wish more small appliances had it.

Answer:	There's no way a blade grinder could correctly be called a "precision grinder," either -- but that's Mr Coffee's marketing fluff, not Amazon's miscategorization.

Answer:	I agree they're probably for the filter numbers. The cone holds 3 full cups so they're not cup markers. On second thought, I don't think these are filter markers, first because the numbers on the cone are 3, 4, 5 and 6 and the filters come in sizes 2, 4 and 6. Second, the numbered filters don't even line up with the markers. So I measured the liquid capacity at each mark and I think they are HALF CUP indicators. At the 3 marker, the liquid capacity is 1.5 cups. At the 6, the liquid capacity is 3 cups. Not sure why this odd designation is used but it's the most logical explanation.

Answer:	No, I have a 8 cup/48 oz thermos (I think), and I have to refill it at least twice, I'm pretty sure. But it's not such a bad thing because the water is also cooling while it's sitting in the filter. So I hit the "boil" button again on the water boiler, and do each refill with freshly-boiled water, so it's hotter in the carafe.

Answer:	Yes...fits great...makes great coffee. Great combination. I wish I had purchased this prior to buying my electric coffee maker and I would not have purchased the coffee maker. Carafe keeps coffee hot for hours.
