Answer:	Yes it is okay to use them without the insert, they will hold more food. I have never experienced any leakage with the food bowl providing you have the lid on tight.

Answer:	It is a snug fit but that's what I want. I didn't find it difficult to open and I have arthritis in my hands. But NO. It is not easy.

Answer:	If you don’t fill to the top too full on either side, then no mixing occurs. I usually put rice, noodles or veggies in the smaller compartment.

Answer:	It depends on which containers you get. It's pictured with the clear/orange locking lid type and also with the black bottom/clear top ones. The black/clear ones are NOT leak proof. They are pretty much Chinese carry out quality. My wife threw those away after the 2nd or 3rd lunch she packed wound up in a pile at the bottom of the lunch box. Invest in some good locking lid containers.

Answer:	We advise against using a dishwasher as its difficult to fully wash the lids due to their shapes. It is best to hand wash so you know the product is thoroughly clean inside and out. With that said, the product can actually go in the dishwasher, it should't damage the product - top shelf is the safe option but again would limit using a dishwasher and hand wash whenever possible.

Question:	Does 24 oz fit in car cup holder
Answer:	I got the 24 oz. It does not fit well in my Honda Civic well. It's very wobbly. I have something that I wrap around near the bottom to take up the slack from my holder in the car to make it fit tighter. To answer the question better, I would say it depends on your car's cup holder. They are all different.

Answer:	I have a cabinet shelf full of insulated stainless water bottles including hydro flask and a couple other premium name brands. This is better than my hydro flask for a few reasons. 1 =better lid. 2 =A better exterior texture as this model has a light texture which adds grip instead of smooth like the hydro. 3= the base has a shallow protective ring attached to the bottom so a drop on its bottom doesn't dent the actual insulated container. Its blended so you may not visually be able to tell its a separate piece. 4 = the base has a rubber non slip pad built into the bottom this prevents slips, sound, and condensation at the base contact point. 5 = much cheaper. For anyone interested this is the same bottle as the Avex, likely made by Avex and simply rebranded for Coleman
Question:	It's the body painted or powder coated? How durable is the color
Answer:	Seems like more of a powder coat. It’s textured and grippy. It definitely doesn’t feel cheap. I’ve had mine for over a month and use it every day at home and at work and there isn’t a single scratch, chips or any signs or wear - and I’ve even dropped it outside. I even ended up buying 2 24oz ones for the kids since it seemed quite durable.
