There's another sensor on Amazon also, without the humidity sensing capability. And the standard answer is always a hard reboot (remove and replace batteries).

Answer:	The red light indicates a signal is being sent to inside unit. And it only sends a fresh signal every 20 to 30, so it will only light for a second at a time.

Answer:	I'm on my second Elegiant thermometer and there will not be a third. The outdoor sensor never worked on the first on and it worked for three months on the second one. I would warn people not to purchase this item and I won't buy anything of this brand again. I do not have a red light anywhere.

Answer:	Youd actually be better off using an automotive exhaust gas temperature gauge with K type thermocouple. They can handle in excess of 1000F and are very accurate. Will require wiring with a wallwart for 12VDC, and dealing with the gauge pod so you can mount it up but they are available for much less than most cooking thermometers.

I experienced this, had to disassemble the unit and allow to dry. I do love this product because of the customer service and value. I think these are great for what they are intended to do.
Question:	Can multiple units be used simultaneously, without interfering with each other? I'd like to use three at the same time
Answer:	There will be some interference yes. I was running 3 side by side for 12-16 hours per day and I had to occasionally walk away with a set to get them to re-sync to each other. It was probably once a day or so tops between all three units, so all in all not a major issue.

Question:	Can you read this from all angles? If it sits near window can you read it
Answer:	Yes, you can read it at a angle. Ours sits 3 feet from a window, and we don't have a problem reading it at all.
Question:	Do the batteries in the outside sensor work when it is freezing outside
Answer:	I haven't had this one that long but the one that I had before (same brand) worked great even at 20 below. However you might want to us lithium batteries. I've used both batteries but lithium seems to last longer and stand the cold better.
Question:	can you mount this on the wall
Answer:	Yes, the display has a key hole in the back for easy wall mounting.
Question:	does it come with the outdoor sensor
Answer:	I ordered twice and did not receive the outdoor sensor.

Question:	is their an ac power for this unit? and where would get it
Answer:	Update to my answer: The units failed to remain independent after 3 weeks, so I would not suggest buying two of these systems, expecting to be able to consistently monitor 6 remote locations. It would be necessary to buy a system from a different manufacturer that transmits and receives on different frequencies than the mere 3 that this product offers, buy a more expensive one that has a greater number of transmitters, or buy individual units that don't transmit to a remote receiver, which would entail walking to every monitor to observe the current reading at that location. Buying two of these systems is a waste of money.
Question:	Does this unit record humidity readings also
Answer:	The manufacturer specifications claim: Indoor 32F to 140F, Outdoor -40F to 140F: Accuracy is +- 2 Degrees F Humidity Indoor/Outdoor range is 10-99% Relative Humidity with +- 5% Accuracy between 20-90% Relative Humidity. My attic can easily reach 140F in the summer here on the Gulf Coast. I would not recommend using one of these in the attic due to the stress it would place on the battery. Batteries don't do well in extreme heat or cold. For my attic, if the ambient temperature reaches 95F, then the attic (which is ventilated) is near the 130 to 140F range.
Question:	can these temperature probes be left in a home cooking oven up to 450 degrees for a few hours at a time
