Question:	What if i’d like to use more than 2 units? how can i add more, if i have multiple properties to manage
Answer:	StreamLabs finally put out an update to allow the app to add/monitor more than 2 devices up to a maximum of 5. However, they now charge $5.99 a month rent to utilize more than 2 monitors for life. You buy the device for $199 and then pay them rent each month to use it forever. (assuming you wish to add a 3rd, 4th or 5th unit to the account as in multiple properties to monitor). Sad as this is a great product and instead of urging customer to buy more, they penalize them and incentivize the customer to NOT buy additional units.
Question:	How small of a leak can it detect? Can it detect a dripping faucet
Answer:	The Monitor can detect flows as low as 0.25gpm on Copper-M, CPVC, and PEX pipes. The lowest it can detect on Copper-L is 0.5gpm. Typically a dripping faucet is too low of a flow rate for the Monitor to detect.
Question:	Is the company working on making the historical usage data more robust? Making it so an owner can see the usage over a period of months or even a year

Answer:	I have had this cover for several months now and I find that it is very protective. I have dropped the phone and do not have a protective layer on my screen and have had no issues. In some of the reviews you might read that it is a bit slippery. I did notice that at first but I have either gotten used to it or it looses that slickness with wear. I highly recommend. Answer:	I suspect it is not lead-free, because it does not have any designation its lead content. Keep in mind that if this is used for regulation of intake to hot water system, the entirety of that plumbing system is full of lead. I got this as a replacement for a very-leaded part (colored silver) made by NTI
Question:	What is the lowest detectable flow rate
Answer:	No, To test, turn the water on at the shower and see if the hot water unit illuminates the display. This is a flow sensor which requires a certain amount of flow to turn on the heater. You may have a restriction in the shower line.
Question:	Will this switch work with a Salt Water System (SWS) salt generator
Answer:	Yes, it is. I installed it in my tankless water heater and have not have any issues.
Question:	Can I take the switch out of the pipe
Answer:	Yes it will fit model 18. I replaced it on mine.

Question:	Will the water sensor turn on if no water is being used but the recirculation pump continues to operate
Answer:	The internal circuits will only handle .2 amps. I plan on using a 12 volt or 24 volt over 110 relay. You cant power the pump through the the flow switch. I plan on cutting the plug off and wiring the switch to the relay.

Purpose



Mainly used for water flow switch control of electric appliances such as water heaters, humidifiers, drinking fountains. According to the different control methods of the switch, it can be used for two ways: power supply or power supply. It can be used for rapid electric water heater water supply and power control and water storage water heater water supply and power control.



Working Principle



When there is water flowing in the water flow switch and the water flow rate is ≥1.0L/min, the magnetic core in the water flow switch is pushed by the water flow to generate displacement, and the magnetic core displacement drives the magnetic source to generate a magnetic control function to make the water flow switch output a "ON" signal. The signal input device control system, through the control system to achieve the control role, when the water flow is less than the start flow, the water flow switch output "off" signal, the control system produces the opposite control effect.
