Answer:	I have two different sets of these and they work via home router or thru cellular connection. Do you have the correct version of the app? There are a couple of different ones but these work best with the current version. And make sure they're not set to privacy mode

Question:	I am using this camera as a baby monitor, but the stream times out (disconnects) after about an hour. I need it to run 12 hours. Can this be done
Answer:	Not sure. I use mine to monitor my 2 dogs when I am not at home. Have had it on at times for 2 to 3 hours with no disconnect but never 12. However there have been times now that I think about it when I have lost the connection but I am usually aware and re log in.

Answer:	Yes it will work in that way as well.
Question:	I understand it comes with a usb cable and adaptor. How long is the actual cable? Would I have to buy an extention cable
Answer:	While I have four range extenders accessing my router, I've not tried to daisy chain them. I suspect that, since the speed between the extender and the router is not as fast as just accessing the router from your computer, that daisy chaining them is possible but the signal might become slower the farther you are from the router...ie: accessing the farthest extender in the chain. Answer:	Maybe. I am an engineer working in radio communications, so perhaps I can lend some advice. I assume you have a trailer and you are trying to provide WIFI within the trailer from a public WIFI (maybe from Comcast?) outside your trailer. Ideally, you would have a device with an antenna that would form a narrow beam pointed at the pole with the public WIFI transmitter. The WIFI signal will go through windows (particularly if slightly open) and perhaps as you say through the skirting as well. But the hard-core engineering solution would be a weatherproof high-gain antenna outside the mobile home with the cable running inside. That may be overkill. This device might work, or it might not. Note that many high quality WIFI Routers (example ASUS RT-AC3200) can be set up to be booster/repeaters and, with several antennas, will electronically beam-steer to a WIFI source, and then repeat it locally as well as providing wired ethernet.

Question:	Is it possible to set up camera to do constant recording? Does it have to detect motion in order to do that
Answer:	No as long as it can connect to your network you are good with an extender service, along with extra security an storage. Installing the DAP-160 is easy. I used the Wi-Fi Connection Setup Wizard and selected Extender as the wireless mode. Next, I gave both bands an SSID name and a password and let the extender scan for available networks. Within 10 seconds it found my network and displayed its signal strength (100%). I hit Connect, entered my Wi-Fi password, and entered a password for the extender. After 60 seconds or so, the device rebooted and was ready to go.
Question:	How is the compatibility with Macintosh
Answer:	That is what the unit designs for, wirelessly connect to your router or access point and extend you WiFi signal. However, you should make sure the location of the extender receiving a decent signal from you router or access point. Then, the extender will do it job. If not, the extender is just a plug-in LED light. It took me awhile to find that sweet spot in my house and get the unit working properly. If you don't have good WiFi signal in the location, where you are going to install the extender, you should try a powerline adapter with wireless/WiFi capability. The adapter will guarantee your internet signal on the board casting location.
Question:	Can I mute the audio
Answer:	Amazon has grouped different products together again, so the reviews you are reading may not be for the device you are wondering about. The DAP-1650, can be used as an access point and a multi-port switch on at least some hardware/firmware versions. The other devices listed currently, DAP-1620, DAP-1720, DAP-1860, and DAP-1330, either do not have an ethernet port, or only have one so they can not be used as a switch in any situation.

Answer:	I have it in a building about 50 yards from my modem. I can use this extention another 50 yards. its kind of cool. so I get like 50 extra yards I didn't have before.
