Answer: | I was experiencing the same error with Sigrok's PulseView x64 and ZaDiag x64 not properly starting, with the OS tossing a 0xc000007b error dialog every time I tried to launch either app. As with the other answerer, the 32bit version would install and would start, but not work correctly with this LA. I ended up giggling my way to success in determining that I didn't have the right .net libs yet installed on this box (a fresh install of Win10 x64). This site (www.techjunkie.com/0xc00007b/) pointed me to the right download needed, in the section 'HOW TO FIX ‘THE APPLICATION WAS UNABLE TO START CORRECTLY 0XC00007B’ ERRORS' - I did the Microsoft Visual C++ 'x64' recommendation (the 'x64 version' of the MS Visual C redistributable). After this, I was able to install and successfully launch the x64 versions of both the PulseView and ZaDiag apps. Currently, I am still struggling with getting PulseView x64 to work with this LA correctly, even after using ZaDiag x64 to change the driver to the default one it offers when it launches. Still working that and will update once I get it. For now, I reverted to using Saleae's Logic 1.2.29 Beta app (available from heresupport.saleae.com/logic-software/latest-beta-release - link good as of 10Jun19). To get Saleae's app to work with it, I had to repeatedly uninstall the device (including deleting the drivers) from the MMC Device Manager snap-in until, when searching for new plug and play hardware, it shows up as 'unknown device'. Once to that point, running the Saleae app should result in it seeing the driverless device with the HW IDs it is looking for and will assimilate it and install the drivers for it, and instantiate it as a 'USB Serial Bus controller|Saleae Logic USB Logic Analyzer', enabling this LA to be used from the Saleae Logic 1.2.29 app (images: i.imgur.com/J60jm8A.png & https://i.imgur.com/NA0MabE.png). As indicated above, once I get this LA to work with the 64-bit version of PulseView/ZaDiag properly, I will update this answer with additional details. Until then, take care. -t |

Answer: | I've currently spent the last 5 years of my life working on this project (and still going); the least I can do is answer a few questions! Do other people not do this? The scope samples at 750ksps, so theoretically it can measure a 375kHz sin wave. In practice, though, anything more than 100kHz is not really stable or recognisable. For the pulse, you could use the digital inputs of the scope that measure at 3Msps. You'd need at least 3 samples (low, high, then low again) to guarantee that the pulse was detected correctly, so that gives a minimum pulse length of 1us. |

Answer: | U are right. It goes to 2.1 GHz not 1Ghz. There are only 2 models, both of which are hardware identical. Not sure why the advertiser chooses not to correct it. Remember also you can unlock the 3.2GHz capability in a 2.1GHz model. |

It is based on a highly integrated frequency synthesizer and double balanced mixer which offers high performance, compact size, low consumption and low cost.
