Answer:	I am not sure if this would work but cover them with dryer sheets before use. Charcoal has been used to remove smell. Crush a couple briquettes in an old sock on them before use. There is also pet urine spray that may work. Just thoughts.

Answer:	I think they would help but you would need one under each support where the frame contacts the floor. They have the smell of a raw rubber product so be aware of that. It should dissipate over time.

Answer:	As cork does not transmit vibrations and the rubber also helps i would say yes if placed under each post of the bed and the bed is not up against the wall. Use the 6x6 size. If the vibrations are intense you could stack two pieces under each pad for extra insullation. The rubber also makes a good grip which will help keep the bedposts from sliding on the floor.

Question:	I bought a set and it reduced noise level by 50%. Is adding more pads the way to reduce noise further? By stacking to increase height
Answer:	Not really. These (like all vibration isolation products) reduce a specific band of frequencies. You need to figure out if your device is vibrating at other frequencies. When I used these I had a 'stack' under my air conditioner: 3M rubber feet, a metal drip pan, these feet, then my air conditioner. Since the 3M rubber feet attenuated a slightly different frequency range, I got very broad spectrum attenuation. Also, don't forget that your device's enclosure vibrates. I had to tighten mine up by adding insulation between the internal components and the enclosure to support it in specific places where it was vibrating. Wide, unsupported expanses of thin plastic and metal are giving off more noise than you know. Wrap them in something or stuff something underneath for support. Hope this helps!

Answer:	Ease! I drill footing 1” holes through several in order to mount 8” grinder. Excellent vibration control with great results.

Answer:	They can be stacked. There's ridges that can be interlocked. They're pretty rigid so I'd say they'd support 250 pounds without a problem. I cut 3/16" steel and put it on top of each one so you might want to do that if what your putting on it has sharp edges.

Answer:	As you know these pads are made of rubber so the washer and dryer being heavy will sink a little as the item sets onto it. You get eight pads so you would have to double each pedestal with two pads each and you shouldn't have a problem. It will reduce the noise and vibration and scuffing from the floor. Good luck.

Answer:	Well, for one thing, it's closed-cell so it would likely float. It probably is toxic for your application as well - a reviewer described how the product needed to off-gas for a few days. Why would you want to use this in an aquarium? Seriously....really curious. I can't imagine a single reason. Maybe to hot glue decorations to? Lol. Maybe you can take a non-stick cookie sheet to use as a mold and squeeze a big blob of silicone onto it.
