Answer:	You should be able to use a router. I was going to use a vertical mill to process the sheets I cut from this block. Note: I used a bandsaw to cut this carbon block into thin sheets. However, it is very messy. Carbon dust will go everywhere. So, I took my bandsaw outside to cut the material. Also, carbon is conductive. So you have to make sure the carbon dust doesn’t go inside your router, because it will short it out. Have fun.

Answer:	It depends on your definition of polished. These plates have a 2B finish, and most customers looking for polished have a #4 finish. I do have both 2B and #4 finish available. We can't guarantee 100% perfection on the top side of the piece, but usually they do not have any imperfections. We can take some additional steps to keep them as nice as possible. The back side of the plates will have some minor scratches and imperfections.
Question:	Can you provide plates of this size that are perfectly polished and smooth on the edges and flat surfaces
