I have not had this kind of experience so I cannot report whether the shield fogs up or not. Question:	How is reading through the plastic
Answer:	It’s ok. A bit cloudy and worse so after cleaning. This product was fine as a test run of sorts and the price was right. Thinking about upgrading so the shield is of higher quality. Also it’s kind of falling apart.

Answer:	I don’t believe you would have problems reading anything while wearing. I did notice if I have a shirt in with writing or much of a design, that reflects back into the plastic when I lean my head down. My bifocal lens also create a slight challenge, but still prefer this to a mask so my students can see my face.

Though our visors are recommended for single use based on CDC and FDA guidelines, they are constructed with a durable mid weight plastic that can be wiped and cleaned with warm water and dish soap should you decide to use the unit multiple times. The material will degrade and break down over time. Additionally the design is not intended to allow for the shield to be taken on and off of the visor. That is possible but the holes that fit the two together will also wear out over time until fastening the shield will no longer be possible.
