Answer:	Not so sure about the "penetrate walls and floors up to 80ft". I purchased it for an older parent that looses her items and finds it days later buried in a drawer. If it is out in the open you can find it ASAP. If it is in a confined space, i.e. closet and or under clothes, you may have to concentrate during your search to hear the sound. For the price though, I say it is worth it.
