Question:	Duty Cycle 25% ? I don't understand 25% of what the total distance? Because the 2 inch actuator is also
Answer:	The duty cycle is actually 20%. What does that mean? It means that in a given amount of time, the device may be operated for only 20% of that time, then it must rest for the same time. So, in one minute it may be operated 12 seconds continuously, then must rest 12 seconds (or longer). Hope this explanation helps.
Question:	how many actuator I can run on a same control switch? Can I run 7 units on one control? Please advice
Answer:	Dear sir, our actuator Input Voltage 12V DC Max load current 3A. And the controller is DC 8-30V, 0-10A. So it only applies to 2 actuators instead of 7. If you use a larger 3*7A=21A controller to achieve it
Question:	How many wires does the unit have? when it hits the limit switch, do you need to reverse polarity to have it change direction
Answer:	Any DC motor will need to reverse + and - to reverse direction. Just buy a double pole, double throws switch from Amazon. Search DC motor control switch which should be able to carry 10 amps. Take the one end of the switch (which has two connections) and connect you power source to this end then take some more wire and cross connect the +/- on the other end of the switch. Then take your actuator wires and connect to the two center terminals of the switch. You can google this as it is very simple. One thing you MUST do is use a fuse between the power source. This will save you wires and switch. The actuator will run off of one amp but if you have to use the entire force of these very strong actuators you will need 6 amp so use a 10 amp fuse.

2.Install actuator so the force of the load acts in the center of the extension tube and the rear mounting adapter.



1.Mount the actuator by securing the top and the bottom mounting holes to two fixed positions.The stroke length of the actuator and the limitations of the particular application will detemine the location of the fixed mounting positions. IMPORTANT:Confirm that the two-way movement of item is smooth and within the actuator's stroke length after it has been installed .Additionally ,confirm that no obstacles exist along the travel path of the actuator .

2.Secure the top and the bottom mounting holes of the item onto the two mounting fixtures using 5/16'' diameter bolts.

3.Connect the red wire to the positive post and black wire to the negative post of the DC power supply .

4.The operation of the item should be tested manually after the installation is completed.

Answer:	There’s two wires a positive and negative. Hook to a 12v battery and it should move . Reverse the wires and it should move the other way. You will have to get a on/off/on switch to operate.

Answer:	There are only 2 leads on the actuator! You will need a Double Pull Double Throw Momentary Rocker switch. The leads on one end of the rocker switch will be reversed to allow it to Pull the actuator back in.
Question:	Can the wire from the actuator to the controller be extended
Answer:	The PA-09-40-330 actuator comes with a wire length of 40 inches and has a 2 pin molex connector at the end of it. You may also cut just the very tip off to expose the 2 wire leads and splice/solder your own extra wires to the original cable to extend the total wire length. As long as the original cable is still within 39 inches, it does not void warranty when cutting less than 1 inch of the original wire off.

Answer:	Depends entirely in the load. You can pull down the datasheet as a PDF from the Net. Max current as I recall is 500 milliamps approx at extreme load, but mine often operate under 50 milliamps.

How To Install



1. Prepare to connect the two wires of the actuator to a 12 volt battery

2.Blue wire to the positive terminal and grey wire to negative terminal will make the actuator extend. To make it retract, just reverse the terminal connections.

3.To simplify the last step, you can prepare a reverse polarity relay or switch (not included) for the actuator. When you want the actuator to extend and retract, just press the switch

4. Your actuator will hold its position when the power is off. It will automatically stop when reaches the end.

5.The actuator has pre-installed inner limit switch, it cannot be adjustable.

6. It comes with mounting brackets.



How to protect your actuator:



1. Please use the 12V DC power adapter

2. Please do not exceed the rated load

3. All the actuators have duty cycle, they are unable to work all the time without stop. The duty cycle of this actuator is 20%. it means that your actuator needs 4 minutes to rest for every 1 minute of work. If the actuator keeps working for long time, the motor is easily burnt out.

Answer:	I would wait to cut the hole till you get it, I have a few of these and they are all different. Plus they are not ‘round’ - it’s got a flat strip on the top, so it’s more like an oval shape. As for the exact measurement goes - I can’t access any of mine without removing walls and such, but my memory serves me it’s around 2”

How To Install



1. Prepare to connect the two wires of the actuator to a 12 volt battery

2.Blue wire to the positive terminal and grey wire to negative terminal will make the actuator extend. To make it retract, just reverse the terminal connections.

3.To simplify the last step, you can prepare a reverse polarity relay or switch (not included) for the actuator. When you want the actuator to extend and retract, just press the switch

4. Your actuator will hold its position when the power is off. It will automatically stop when reaches the end.

5.The actuator has pre-installed inner limit switch, it cannot be adjustable.

6. It comes with mounting brackets.



How to protect your actuator:



1. Please use the 12V DC power adapter

2. Please do not exceed the rated load

3. All the actuators have duty cycle, they are unable to work all the time without stop. The duty cycle of this actuator is 20%. it means that your actuator needs 4 minutes to rest for every 1 minute of work. If the actuator keeps working for long time, the motor is easily burnt out.
