| Answer: | Very bright but shaded overcast day maybe, but a sunny day in shade Yeah not so much. I would only use this indoors the plastic is not UV rated. The plastic will get brittle over time. UV light can bounce off assault or concrete surfaces. The mounting plate is of good quality thick plastic. I glued a magnet on the bottom plate to maneuvered the light to its optimum potential visually. I used it for Lab hood fume evacuation vent pump ON light indication. Works well. It lets the lab tech know that the D.I. water pump is on for sampling and to turn it off. I should put in a timer also now that I think about it. Lab people are very forgetful. |
