Question:	Are this handle plastic or metal
Answer:	I doubt it. You need a flat smooth hard surface for the suction to take. It works great on glass but I would be surprised if it work on any kind of cardboard that I know about. Maybe if the cardboard was super hard and had a glossy finish it would work. If it were just a question of the weight, 30 pounds, I don’t think that would be any problem. But you need to have a really good seal for the handles to stay tight.

To Attach

1) Position the hand cup on the contact surface so the red line will be visible if it should appear while lifting the load. CAUTION: Test the cup for staining or deformation of load surfaces with light colors or soft coatings.

2) Pump the plunger until the cup attaches completely. When the red line is hidden, vacuum is sufficient for lifting.

3) Check the plunger frequently to make sure the cup remains securely attached. If the red line appears while lifting, set down the load immediately and pump the plunger until the red line is hidden again.

To Release

1) Set the load on a secure support.

2) Press the valve release lever until the cup disengages completely.

Maintenance

Since aging and wear reduce the capacity of the rubber pad, it should be replaced at least once every 2 years or whenever cuts, slits or other surface damage is discovered. Always inspect vacuum pads before use. Clean vacuum pads and the load surface between each lift. Make sure both surfaces are dry and free of any dirt or obstruction. Question:	Would these stick to the sides of air handlers and furnace’s for guys to fit into place? There just under 250lbs
Answer:	Up to their rated load I would feel fairly good about using them, although I doubt I would lift more than 150 lbs high off of the ground with them. But for that weight I would get the more expensive one with a button you pump to create suction. If it is low and not trying to get up a ladder or anything I would get two sets and have each guy use them. They then are only carrying about 65 lbs each, and with two suction cups it would be closer to 30 lbs a cup. They definitely could handle that without too much trouble. And just get the oil off of the sheet metal first and they will stick very well.

Check Before Use

1. Please test all Vacuum Suction Cups for grip strength on a small sample piece of material you plan to use cups on before use.

2. Use the cup on clean, relatively smooth, nonporous surfaces at temperatures from 10°to 120°F. Moisture or contaminants can reduce the slip resistance of the cup.

To Attach

1. Position the hand cup on the contact surface so the red line will be visible if it should appear while lifting the load.

2. Pump the plunger until the cup attaches completely. When the red line is hidden, vacuum is sufficient for lifting.

3. Check the plunger frequently to make sure the cup remains securely attached. If the red line appears while lifting, set down the load immediately and pump the plunger until the red line is hidden again.

To Release

1. Set the load on a secure support.

2. Press the valve release lever until the cup disengages completely. Lift tab on pad edge permits instant release.

To Maintance

1. Use a clean sponge or lint-free cloth to clean the cup face with some soapy water

2. Stored in the carrying case in a dry place with lower temperature.

3. Since aging and wear reduce the capacity of the rubber pad, it should be

replaced at least once every 2 years or whenever damage is discovered.
