Question:	can it spool a standard 50 feet cable if I install it, 15 ' is not enough for me
Answer:	I've never seen it damage a surface, although I suppose it could, since it contains distillates (like toluene?) that might dissolve some materials. More importantly, this stuff is VERY sticky, so on a rough surface you would never be able to completely remove it. For that matter once it gets a good grip, it's about impossible to pull apart anyway. For example, I glued just the red plastic cover from a small reflector (with no backing) to the rear of the seat post on my bike -- just for fun, and extra safety. I put one blob on each side where the reflector touched the post, and masking taped the reflector in place till the glue dried. Years later when I replaced the seat and had to pull off the reflector, first it hadn't fallen off in the meantime, and second it was nearly impossible to get loose, then I had to work at remaining blobs of glue, stuck to chromed steel, with needle nose pliers, to yank them off the metal.

Answer:	Yes, I had good luck doing that with this. It's good at bonding surfaces that are different. I'd use rubbing alcohol on the surfaces first to clean them.

Answer:	The winch doesn’t come with any kind of mounting plate. The only way to secure it is by anchoring it to something via a strap or a chain with the rear hook. This winch is made to be portable and not fixed. I would be careful about trying to pull a vehicle however, the capacity of the winch is only 1000 lbs and even with a snatch block to double the capacity it still probably won’t have enough power. I think this is more for atv sized things and construction use etc... I love mine.

Answer:	No it does have a release that permits you to pull the cable out. When cable is unwound it is prone to wind in one place on the reel which can cause it to run out of room and rub against the frame. It's a pain but it works.

Question:	DO any of you guys that bought the cordless ones have any regrets and think the 110 v be easier to maintain? im torn ,i dont plan to use all that much
Answer:	No regrets at all. The battery has a good charge life. We have had several of the 24 volt winches and several of the 110 volt winches. (we are very hard on the winches and abuse them) They are both very handy winches to have and very comparable in overall pulling power. I will also add that the original winches were made for pulling only only. They now have models also safe for lifting. Again they are both fantastic for what they are, sometimes you just cant beat not having to worry about a power source to plug in a cord.
Question:	Does this come with the charger? How long does it take to charge? How long does it hold a charge
Answer:	I can not vouch for this seller but mine came with two batteries and a charger but I paid more. Ther's a red model and an orange. I will tell you this, do not leave the batteries without a charge for an extended period of time (or leave the batt. in the unit with the switch on.),you'll be buying new ones and two replacement batteries cost more than a new unit w batteries. The usage time is good but depends on how much continues use.

I wouldn’t count on any warranty. I’m still waiting for the remainder of my order. There was no remote control nor owners manual in my shipment. Plus unit was pretty beat up from shipping. Beamnova offered me $8 discount (no typo, $8) and told me I didn’t realize how difficult it was to run a small business. The hoist seems to work as it should and I don’t want to go thru hassle of return, but definitely not impressed w/ Beamnova.

Question:	What size wire is recommended to run from battery to winch
Answer:	I have just installed the 3000 lb version of this winch in a 2005 Kawasaki mule 610 using the Kawasaki mount plate. It fits with enough room left over that it's possible to get one's hand in to access the clutch knob. The in/out switch mounting is designed for attachment to a handlebar but it can be clamped (awkwardly) to the steering column. The (+) lead to the battery is not long enough to reach, if routed through the in-floor channel. I had to splice in a length of 8ga. wire to make the connection. As old a product as the mule 610 is, there likely isn't much call for this information.... yet here it is.

Answer:	It's not too loud, I'd say a little louder than a cordless Drill. You absolutely cannot use any winch of this type for hours on end, you will burn up the motor. I'd say you can only use it about 5-10 minutes at a time (depending on load) and then you have to let it cool down 5-15 minutes before using it again. I don't know about the exact RPM but all winches (at least this type) are pretty slow. Speed also depends on the load.
