Answer:	Mine looked just like the picture ( black ) , they are very well made. I use them for backseat covers for my big black German Shepherd they save my leather ;)

Answer:	I imagine you could, but only on a very gentle cycle. If you do wash it you will need a very large capacity washer due to how bulky it is. Answer:	The barrel is definitely not made of wood - it is made of some form of plastic. The wood grain finish only looks like it is made from wood.

Answer:	I bought it a few weeks ago and today it's the first time I try to use the rain water we got last week. The spigot is definitely plastic and it doesn't fit my regular sized hose, even with plumbing tape. Crap.

Answer:	You can't remove the cover. There is an opening with a removable screen that's approx 3" by 12" for filling. You could mop it out with the right tool.

Answer:	I purchased my first of these barrels Sept. 2013. It looked so nice that I purchased two more May of 2014. I can attest that all these barrels still bow out when filled 3/4 or more. I have paving sand perfectly level, then concrete blocks on this & the barrel sitting securely and supported by the large blocks. Even though they do bow, mine have been going back into shape after some of the water is used. You will need to set them out 7 or 8 in from your house, because the bowing will push them forward. Because a portion of the time the barrel is being used it may be bowed, the screen insert will not fit firmly in the recessed area it's made for allowing mosquitos and such to get in. I sprinkle a few mosquito bits in the tank. It's annoying, but - NO - the company has not corrected this problem by making a thicker product. I intend to contact them about this. More people should, because otherwise, it's a very nice barrel that holds up cosmetically outside without fading out.

Answer:	Yes, when you move a large plant that is 200 lbs, these kinds of plant caddies, will definitely scratch your wood floors. I thought I would be OK, to move my plant, 50lbs, & my floors are now horribly scratched. :(
Question:	Is the drainage hole pre-drilled
Answer:	I have a 14 inch saucer on a 14" stand, and it works perfectly. If you will add a saucer under your 14" pot, you might want to move to the 20" stand. These stands are great--they are sturdy, solidly built, and they move well--but they are not decorative. I prefer to have my saucer fully cover the stand, so that I can't see the stand. Hope that helps.
Question:	How big are these scale wise
Answer:	These things are very sturdy from what I've seen so far. I have a 260lbs from a stack of weights on one in the garage right now as a load test and it's having no problems. It rolls around on a 3/4 inch rubber mat just fine, so I suspect on a regular surface it will do even better.

Answer:	You may be able to but it is not light. It would definitely require a sturdy wall, heavy duty anchors and screws and possibly a small shelf to hold some of the weight. All of that without it being filled with anything.

Answer:	The barrel has 3 "quarter size" holes. One in each corner and one in the front middle.

Answer:	I doubt that it would hold water as it would seep through the wood plus its made from wood panels strapped together with metal bands so it would come through the cracks.
Question:	Will this barrel for a 15-20 gallon insert for a water feature
Answer:	Good question! For example, the 16" plant stand is a bit smaller in diameter than your 18 1/2" planter bottom; so, your planter, when centered on the 16" stand, would overhang the stand by 1 2/4" on all sides. We own several of these excellent plant stands in different sizes and prefer that sort of an overhang because it covers up the plant stand, thus leaving your lovely planter floating there on your deck, or where ever it is. The 20" stand would allow the ends of the legs of the stand to be visible beyond four 18 1/2" planter bottom, not a look that we prefer. So, we buy a plant stand just a bit smaller in diameter than the planter you intend to put on it. If a planter is tall and very heavy, I'd be sure not to use a stand very much smaller than the planter bottom; that approach will result in good stability for moving the plant about on a deck for example. You've chosen an excellent product in our experience of several years with several different sizes. Enjoy!
