Answer:	We did not use the anchor bolts that came with the unit. They were designed to go into the concrete. Go to your hardware store and tell them what your plans are then they can tell you the best thing to use. What ever you choose - keep in mind that this rack is heavy to begin with and when you add glasses and bottles it is extremely heavy.

Answer:	Top to bottom of the unit itself is 37.75" and side to side is 9.5". The depth is about 3.5" The side to side dimension increases, of course, when you put a bottle on it. I can store a magnum on this rack.

Answer:	No, Champagne or Pinot noir bottles are too wide!
Question:	Can two of these units be stacked on top of each other
Answer:	Yes so far for every individual bottle. It's tight for some higher end pinot bottles that tend to have a wider base but holding the bottle exactly parallel to the ground you should be able to slide pretty much any bottle of pinot noir into any slot in each row expect for the first on either side. Once you get the fat part in through the second slot it can be moved over sideways to the first. The clearance is so marginal that I have to twist those tighter fitting bottles so that the label faces to the side and not up/down in order not to scrape the lable. Also only 2 of those substantial bottles can fit next to each other but if 3 bottles of that same size are placed next to each other the middle bottle rides over the two on each side. I interspace a thinner bottle between 2 thicker ones and that eliminate the problem for me. I would buy this rack directly from Decomil's site, unless you keep many bottles of the same high end label and have an excessive tendency to OCD. Don't buy it if not having all your wine bottles in prefect order upsets you or if you can't handle having to pull out a 2nd bottle to access a fat bottle that happens to be stuck in the first slot.

Answer:	The wood is bamboo and is sanded to a smooth surface. As one reviewer noted, if you feel you need more support you might try wedging mall strips of masking or gaffers tape, folded sticky over so sticky sides stick together, where needed. My rack felt loose until there was the weight of wine bottles in it. Now if feels very sturdy.

Answer:	We have it in an unfinished basement also but we screwed it into the studs. I do not think it would be sturdy enough otherwise. Very pleased with the wine rack though.

Answer:	I believe you could if you built a shelf just above the bottom one but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Answer:	It's possible to put them on top of rack as others have done but it would be better to also use a spacer between rack and wall it's attached to. The neck of bottle can be seated in the front that way.
