Question:	Are these and their hardware all stainless steel or no? (Search "stainless" in this Q & A and you get different answers
Answer:	The description mentions steel, but it could be also be a, ferritic stainless steel which generally are .magnetic while austenitic stainless steels are not. The caster wheel attract a magnet, therefore they could be steel. My assumption they are steel considering the price.
Question:	what is the bolt pattern
Answer:	2" x 1 3/8" center distance on the slots in the base. In my situation they were screwed to the bottom of 4x4 posts. The overall mounting plate is 2"x 2 3/4" which would make it hang over the edge of a 2x4.

Answer:	Solids are not all terrain. Smooth concrete ok, but uneven look at soft rubber or inflatables

Answer:	No, because the pattern is 2 in x 3 inch. You will need to modify it.

Question:	Could I use these wheels for a miter saw stand? Are they able to be used on a grassy surface
Answer:	Joshua please refer to my review titled “Excellent Value - Compare With Home Centers,” with photo and video. I used the 3” casters with brakes for some of my mobile carts. These caster would definitely work for a miter saw stand. My carts stay in the garage or driveway. I haven’t tried them on grass. Perhaps a 4” or 5” caster might roll sufficiently on a low cut burmuda grass, not likely on bluegrass or fescue. I would think any moisture in the grass to migrate to the caster bearings, increasing friction and rust. That would be true of virtually any caster.

Answer:	They have been pretty easy for me to lock and unlock. No problem getting my toe underneath.

Answer:	Appears to be semi-hard. They roll quietly which indicates to me they are not hard, hard like plastic. I roll them in my driveway and they roll very smoothly even when encountering small stones. If the wheels are kept clean I think they might roll nicely on hardwood, for instance, without scratching. But that also depends on how heavy the load is on the wheels. Certainly they would roll on tile and not harm the tile.

Answer:	Sure. I would just tack weld at the four corners. Take it easy with the heat so you don’t melt the grease out of the bearings. Might want to shield the tires from hot sparks.

Answer:	I think so. It would depend on the over all amount of travel but the have a very smooth action and ate large enough to go over most bumps and small items well

Answer:	No, these casters are non-marring. Let me explain how I use them and the conditions they perform in. I have been using four of these Finnhomy red swivel casters in my workshop, for a very long time. The cabinet is made of 3/4" construction plywood and has a double bottom to which the four casters are attached using bolts, washers and nuts. The cabinet has a large belt/disk sander and a 8" bench grinder on the top. There are two shelves, one housing my router bits in a box on first shelf and a second shelf with light items, The bottom of the cabinet with miscellaneous drill press parts. These swivels, allowed me to spin that cabinet with ease. However I added a "2x4" frame on one side to house several large/long wood-turning lathe tools. Currently that has thrown the weight distribution off and I have to make a similar set up on the other side, based on need, to the get the four swivels to move as easily as they are capable of. Being a small shop, I constantly have to move several tools, to be able to do any one thing, and this cabinet is constantly moved to access a tool closet or to open the door to go outside. We have an older house with a cement floor, not a smooth floor found in new homes today. Over the years, our floor has 3-4' pockets, that expose small stones mixed into the concrete. This means, the the unit rides across some flat cement/concrete, and is pushed/pulled in and out of these small craters. Given that, there is no marring, when you think of it, is pretty amazing. I will order these when I am building my next cabinet and really should take some time to fill in those craters. Hope this helps you and others.

Answer:	I'm not sure I'd trust these to be waterproof. They would likely rust, but I don't know how soon. I don't know how big your egg is, but we used them for a platform for a Christmas tree that has 800 ornaments on it. They are quite sturdy.
