Either way, have oil ready to go, carbon steel will flash rust so fast after ultrasonic cleaning you won't believe it. If.....your only doing it in the garage, and it's dedicated only for "garage parts" like my outside one, 50/50 antifreeze works pretty darn good as a cleaner, and no flash rust!

If your silverware has tarnish, then you'll have to use an ultrasonic silver tarnish remover as a solution. iSonic D3800A is one of the most popular personal ultrasonic cleaners on the market. AC powered, 110 V 35 W, 42,000 Hz true ultrasonic cleaner. It has a 1.3 Pt / 0.6 L capacity stainless steel tank. How does it work?

iSonic Ultrasonic Jewelry / Eyeglasses Cleaner D3800A has a transducer that generates ultrasound which in turn generates cavitations in the liquid. Cavitations are millions of invisible tiny air bubbles which collapse upon contacting items and create mini vacuums that suck off debris. In a simple analogy, it cleans like a brush but reaches places such as crevices and holes where a brush can't reach. It makes cleaning of cleaning jewelry, eyeglasses and watches easy. Answer:	I've been using this for a few weeks now and I don't see any option to control the UV light. It's simply come on when operating the unit.

Answer:	Lid: I wish the lid was easily removable. but it appears that two very small screws secure it in place. Dumping: I simply dump the cleaning water/solution into the sink when I'm done, and then rinse out the stainless steel tank.

Answer:	It works very well for my diver's watch with 50 m rating and solid jewelry. Don't use on pearls, emerald, ivory, agate, and sea turtle shells. They are soft. According to the user manual. Used for cleaning various items

You can use this ultrasonic cleaner to clean your eyeglasses, watches, denture, jewelry & accessory (like rings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, brooches, tie pins, cufflinks, combs, etc.), shavers head, metals, or other small parts (like ancient coins, small metal accessories, bearings, etc.)

Not suitable for: Many gemstones can be easily damaged by ultrasound. Do not put in softer gemstones such as opals, lapis lazuli, emeralds, turquoise, etc. Organic jewelry such as pearls, coral pieces, or amber can also be damaged. Also, do not put inside your ultrasonic cleaner gemstones whose color has been enhanced through heat treatment.

Usage Method

1. Please fill the tank with water.

2. Place the items on the washing basket to make them completely immersed.

3. Switch it on, set the cleaning time, and start cleaning.

*Tips: Please do not exceed the highest water level when adding water.

For daily cleaning, just use tap water and normal cleaning liquids

For very dirty products, use warm water and special cleaning liquids and repeated cleaning to achieve better results.

How to clean the watch?

1. Please set the watch in the watch holder.

2. If the metal band is thick and can not be set in the watch holder, please remove the metal band from the watch and clean it.

3. Please be careful not to immerse watch in the water unless it is water resistant to 30 meters or more.

1. Take a clean aluminum foil

2. Fill up your ultrasonic cleaner with water

3. Turn on Ultrasonic Cleaner

4. Dip the foil inside the tank and keep for 3-5mins

*If the ultrasonic cavitation effectively pierces the foil to make many tiny holes and see foil pieces floating on the water, it shows the ultrasonic cleaner is working fine.
