Answer:	I'd like to hear from Sony on this. My (previous model) BDPS580 had the child lock issue and a buffering problem. After constant buffering problems with Netflix etc, we bought a roku which NEVER buffers. We use the Sony only for BluRay playback. Re the child lock issue, after many days and hours of we give up. It's horrible. We downloaded a firmware update. It hung up on install and now it will not reload because it thinks it's complete. So the machine constantly displays the flashing goodbye message "see you" and does not consistently open, close, turn on or off. We do the various reset procedures "home-return-top menu" or unplug and replug, or hold the power button for 10 seconds, and then it sometimes responds. Once, twice. Then dies again. We turned off the quick start feature, tried to update the firmware again, many times, and it won't update because it thinks it doesn't need it. To be clear, it NEEDS something. Horrible machine.

Answer:	It does come with netflix and looks like you have the option upload other apps. I havent tried it yet. I read the product info before I bought the player. I believe it does play 3D. The title says "4K Ultra HD 3D" Very happy with this player, beautiful picture, enhances my blu ray discs.

Answer:	I would describe it as a tray not a slot. I would have a concern mounting it vertical as the disks would be damaged and/or fall out when the door closes to play the disk.

Answer:	OK, I just reviewed my owner's manual. This device does have wireless capability to connect with a wireless router and connect to the internet. However, I found no mention of bluetooth. My printer, smartphone, kindle and the Sony UBP-X700 are all connected to the Wi-Fi and work without a problem. But again, the word "bluetooth" is not used in any of the documentation that came with the device. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Officially, 1TB. In regards to current prices/market: 1TB costs above $200, and 2TB is not available for purchase yet. Most economical high capacity would be a 400GB card. 512GB can be had for a little more. When higher than 1TB is available, it might work? But most likely has NOT been tested, hence the official 1TB “limit”.

Answer:	The 9W charger with the HD plus is nothing to brag about, even the 5W charger is only a 1A charge; which my 7th gen is limited to; even with a 24W charger. The Usb/C port is only a C pinout, NOT a true Usb/C, charging is limited by firmware to ~1A; so this newest gen is still extremely slow charging!

Answer:	When I got my Kindle HD Fire 10 in 2017, I went to YouTube to see how or if I could add Google Chrome. I was able to find a video right away, followed the steps - and within minutes I had both Google Chrome and the Google Playstore. It has worked without a hitch since. I'm a 60-year-old grandmother who is not very tech-savvy, so I was very grateful for this! I just got a new 2020 Kindle HD Fire 8 and will be doing the same thing with this one.

I have the roku ultra and fire tv cube for streaming. There are dolby vision options on Netflix that this unit does support!

Answer:	My LG UBK90 plugs into my Denon AVR via an HDMI cable (along with 7 other devices also with HDMI cables), and then one HDMI out from the Denon to a 70in 4K TV (that also does Dolby Vision). I have had this player for a little over a year and specifically purchased it for the Dolby Vision capabilities. I get Dolby Vision whether the Denon AVR is on or off. I have not had any issues with it at all and have been 100% satisfied with it. A majority of folks who have had issues found they were using an older HDMI cable, which prevented Dolby Vision from playing properly. Don't think you have to pay premium prices for the cables because you don't. They are available here and at Monoprice (just to name a few) and the cables I am using were less than $8.00 each. Answer:	I have mine on antenna line rg6 50 feet coming from attic then distribution throughout house. It's not that terribly important to have it that close to antenna. I'd say if your coax/rg6 is more than 50, try to install this no longer than that. Not everyone has the coaxial splitter that was when satellite or cable was installed on their roof or attic, very doubtful. Usually its coming in at basement or into attached garage. This is where you want to place this unit, and make sure to use terminators on any unused ports.

Answer:	This is used to split a Cable TV single to four tvs. You plug the incoming cable TV cable into the input and connect up 4 separate cables for 4 different TV sets. I did not use it for a regular TV antenna. Works great for this arrangement and is the same brand that Comcast Cable uses in its installations in homes. .

Answer:	I use HDMI cables for everything. I have 4K and everything is run through my home theater which is also 4K.

Answer:	This player comes with an enclosed sheet labelled "LG Hardware Modified", which gives you detailed instructions for changing Blu-Ray zones. IGNORE THIS SHEET!!! The instructions tell you to "Make sure that the QUICK START mode of the unit is set to OFF from the setup menu!" Then it tells you to: "Press Standby/On to turn OFF the unit." There is no such "mode" to be found anywhere in the setup menu. Nor is there any button on the remote control labelled "Standby/On". Most importantly, DO NOT mess with the Setup Menu to try to select Player Regions! I tried that and got nowhere. As previously explained by another user, ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS THIS: MAKE SURE THE PLAYER IS CONNECTED TO POWER. OPEN THE DISC TRAY ("OPEN/CLOSE" BUTTON) AND INSERT YOUR BR DISC. TURN OFF THE POWER (TOP RED BUTTON ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE REMOTE). ON THE REMOTE CONTROL, PRESS (1) FOR REGION A. PRESS (2) FOR REGION B. PRESS (3) FOR REGION C. I inserted a Region B disc and pressed the button on the remote numbered "2" until the player powered up by itself and recognized my Region B disc. When i removed the Region B disc and inserted a Region A disc, the player automatically recognized the proper zone and played it. I did not have to repeat the numeric button process. I then reinserted the B disc to see if the player would automatically recognize its zone, and it did so. I don't have any Region C discs, but the same procedure should work for them. There may be a way to select zones within the setup menu, but i could not get it to work using the remote control.

Answer:	You need a High Speed 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 Cable to connect a 4K bluray device to other 4K bluray device. Anything less then HDMI 2.0 Cable will not pass the 4K signal. I have a surround sound system that has 4K passthrough but it didn't passthrough the HDR signal, With a HDMI 2.0 cable directly to my TV it worked and TV played 4k HDR signal. My solution to use the surround sound plus get a 4K HDR picture on the TV was to use a HDMI 4k HDR splitter to feed both the surround sound and the TV.
