Answer:	Depends on what and how dirty the object you are cleaning is. I use CLR and water for most cleaning. On silver items where patina is desired I use a little Dove. Just water will work on dusty or sticky problems but I would use detergent. Commercial jewelry cleaner I find too harsh for most uses, it strips all patina off of silver and most gold objects.

Answer:	NEVER CLEAN OPALS IN AN ULTRASONIC MACHINE. Solid opal should be cleaned gently with mild detergent in warm water and a soft toothbrush or cloth. Avoid bleach, chemicals and cleaners. Doublets & triplets may be wiped with a damp soft cloth and mild detergent, but should never be soaked or immersed. These consist of multiple layers glued together, prolonged exposure to water will eventually cause lifting between the layers and the infiltration of water. A doublet or triplet will take on a ‘foggy’ or grey appearance if this happens. This does not mean your opal will be ruined if you wear it in the shower once, or are caught in the rain. It takes prolonged exposure to cause water damage to a doublet or triplet. Solid Opals, on the other hand, are much different. Opal is a soft stone, approximately the same hardness as glass (around 6.5 on Moh’s hardness scale), so it is important to treat your opal carefully in order to avoid damaging it. Remove your opal jewellery if there is a chance it will be scratched or broken (i.e. working in the garden, moving furniture, etc.) Many people believe solid opals can be damaged by water – however, this only applies to doublets and triplets. Answer:	No. It only vibrates. And it's really loud too. But it really does get the rings good and clean .

Answer:	I found this item to be quite useless to clean anything! It's suppose to vibrate the gunk & goo out of chains & set stones. It's not powerful enough, even if you let your things soak for a bit. (They recommend "NO soaking) The solutions from this company are good in a pinch. To clean my copper 'Anything' I use 4 to 1, CLR, water & a soft rag. Use rubber gloves with the CLR. It's really hard on the skin. Don't waist your money. Good Luck

Answer:	I used the hooks to hold rings. I used other methods for cleaning chains. The jar of cleaning solution with the basket in the bottom works best for them.

LaSonic Compact Cordless Jewelry Bath’s design makes it elegant enough for display on one’s bathroom or dressing room vanity for daily jewelry cleaning. Use only Connoisseurs brand pre-mixed or concentrated cleaning solutions. To get you started use the single packet of cleaning concentrate included. Dilute all concentrates. Fill to the first fill line on the back of the machine’s tank and then fill to the top fill line with “warm” water. Use the carousel to suspend jewelry in the solution. If the items to be cleaned are too large for the carousel, use the “S” shaped suspension hook and suspend the item to be cleaned from the hook into the solution leaving the tank cap off. The carousel hook has 2 holes on each prong for holding either wire or post earrings. Turn machine on for 1 to 2 minutes, remove jewelry and rinse.

1.Put the product to be washed in water

2.Drop a few drops of detergent and pree the red button to work immediately

3.Shake on the surface to indicate that work is in progress

4.Work for 5-10 minutes to come out, if not clean can continue to wash into the washing machine

5.After cleaning, wipe the water and machine clean, and finally close the lid to facilitate the next use again
