Answer:	I had used this with some warm fluids and they responded well, the plastic didnt loose its clarity neither it got soft; that said, I would not recomend to use this for direct heating or exothermic reactions, mainly for safety concerns. If it helps to say it, remember that any plastic could resist a gentle warmup by water bath, so if your not planning to do heavy heating, you might as well try this beakers out and see..

Answer:	I don't have a dishwasher so I can't answer this from personal experience. However, they seem to be made of quality glass and while they might easily break if knocked around by other items I don't see any reason the dishwasher process itself would do them any damage.
