Answer:	2 Amps at 120V is 240 watts, or at 240V 480 watts. So the system's ability to "accurately" measure the exact watts being drawn is useful, but not precise. But it will register small loads as being present, but not accurately. This is the limitation of the clamp on current transformers, their proximity to other wires radiating magnetic fields all around them, and the fact that various types of devices draw power in different ways, not just "resistive" loads. Electronic devices with switching power supplies use pulse width modulation switching and draw power in small slices 60 times a second which can fool current transformers and relatively slow sampling of those transformers into not seeing a load, or seeing much load or seeing more load than is actually constantly there. Hope this all makes sense, Alternating current (AC) is a 60hz sinewave and this power measurement device samples that probably at 240hz or more, but then averages the results.

Answer:	Yes, this kit will measure both free chlorine and total chlorine. When performing the chlorine test, the immediate result indicates your free chlorine level. Let the test sample sit for two minutes, allowing the chlorine to fully react - now the sample will indicate total chlorine. In a healthy pool, there should be no change between the two. Question:	How often do the chemicals have to be replaced
Answer:	No, it doesn't use test strips because it's not electronic. It uses reagents and you compare the results to the color chart visually.
Question:	what is the correct way to check the chlorine in the pool water
Answer:	The Taylor K-2006 is far superior. It includes a test for Cyanuric Acid which this kit does not. You need to know your Cyanuric Acid (Cya) to know at what level to keep your chlorine. The K-2006 can also test up to 50 ppm in chlorine, this kit only goes to 5. This kit is pretty basic and if your pool is clean and clear it may be adequate, however if you ever get cloudy or green water this kit won't cut it.
Question:	I just received my tester, but don't know what the correct numbers should be. Is there a chart that give the range for what the readings should be? I have a salt water pool

Answer:	No because it depends on the size of your pool. The kit is expensive. I go to my local pool shop to give me the answer as they have the size of my pool on record. Being an engineer I bought it to test parameters myself as I know the safe range. Trying to avoid adding chemicals unless essential. The pool shop will try to sell their products based on the results if you take the water sample to them. The choice is yours. There is some good material on the web on pool water chemistry even a lay person will understand. I converted my 65,000 litre normal pool to a salts water pool to avoid spending too much on Chlorine.
Question:	Does it check for copper,iron and phosphates
Answer:	The standard kit I purchased DID NOT contain test strips to measure salt content. You need to buy it separate I presume.

Answer:	It depends on what your jewelry is made of. My platinum and diamond engagment ring and wedding band get nicely cleaned in this., as well as my Tiffany 14K and diamond jewelry. I have quite a lot of Tiffany silver jewelry that can be cleaned in this machine, but in order to remove tarnish you MUST used silver polish. Water with or without detergent won't do anything for tarnish except clean the tarnish itself. Of course you know Tiffany cleans all their jewelry for free. Just take it to any Tiffany store and they will make it look like new.

The one with the liquids is by far the more popular. The liquids provide ease of use and quicker results. The tablets have to be crushed and the material has to settle, before being inserted. Only the cyanuric acid test always requires a tablet to be used. Buyers are happier using liquids. especially for testing free and total chlorine, pH and TA. I hope this is helpful.
