Answer:	I experience the same thing; however, it seems one of the two, the green patch, is a clearer indicator for me. When in doubt, I accept the lower reading. Up or down one reading is close enough for me, especially when a nutrient I started taking raised the reading from 5.75 to 6.50 which could have been a 6.75.

The reason is that the pH test strips have reactors in them for the testing of Urine and Saliva to achieve accurate results for this purpose. For testing Vaginal pH it is best to use the 0 -14 range test strips, rather than the 4.5 - 9.0 range as a healthy vaginal pH is somewhere between 3.8 and 4.5.

Answer:	No not at all, I tried these with water and I get very inaccurate readings compared to my matching readings from my liquid water testing kit and my digital pH tester. I guess there's something special about these strips where they work specifically for bodily fluids.

Answer:	pH is pH, so you can use these strips to test any liquid. However, two things to watch out for: First, if the thing you're testing is strongly-colored (such as a darkly-colored juice or soda), you might have a hard time reading the result. In addition, if the pH of your liquid lies outside that shown in the color chart on the container, you won't be able definitively to state the pH of the liquid. If the test strip does not change color or is always a color, it may be because the acidity and alkalinity of the tested liquid is 6, which is yellow just like the color of the test strip, or the pH values of the tested liquids are almost the same.

This TDS meter is pre-calibrated in factory, no need calibrate again by customer, we do this to prevent as many calibration related mistakes as possible, and it's easier to use. To maintain the accuracy, it's better to rinse the probe with distilled water after each use. For your mentioned distilled water, it should read 0 ppm theoretically, but in actual application, if you can't keep test condition very clean, it may read 0-2ppm usually.

Answer:	This is a broad range pH test, pH 2 to 14 . Blood pH is in a fairly narrow range around 7.4, so no you can't use thes for blood

Answer:	there is nothing on the packaging that says anything about shelf life. The plastic case leaves no part of the paper exposed to air or light except the little tab sticking out, but I would still recommend keeping it in a place that is room temperature, dark and not too damp nor extremely dry. Under such conditions, dunno... maybe give it a decade or two ?
Question:	Do you think i could use this to test food before i can it? it needs to be in the 3.0 range for canning, i think
Answer:	This test paper works. I didn't use it on food but I think acid is acid and base is base.

Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)

Trichomoniasis (TRICH)

Wash Your Hands

Please wash and dry your hands before testing, avoid harmful bacteria into the vagina.

Perform the Test

Insert a cotton swab into the vagina for 5 seconds and gently tilt the swab to the left and right to absorb as much secretion as possible.

Apply to pH Testing Strip

Remove the swab, making sure the tip does not touch any surface. Use a cotton swab to gently wipe the head of the test paper until it is completely wet. If you wipe a layer of surface, the effect is not obvious, and the result is inaccurate.

Read the Results

Read test after 30 secomds, compare the color of the strips with the color test chart. As the color pad will continue to react after the 30 second read period, any results after two minutes are invalid.

Answer:	Calibration packets were. I don’t recall about the batteries. did not work well for me

Answer:	No. These meters are not very accurate (correct). They may read to .01 pH precision, (although on the two that i have, the pH reads all over the place on the two that I have), but one of the two ain't even close. Using the buffer packets and steam distilled water to calibrate, they both read the correct buffer pH in calibrate mode. However, they do not read the buffer pH minutes later in the pH read mode (the top button, under the display). Even if your solution under test has a pH near the calibration point, the chance of getting a correct (accurate) reading seems small. If the pH of your aquarium water is really critical, get a lab-quality pH meter. You do need to remember that pH is a logarithmic function, so a deviation of 1, for example, represents a very large difference in hydrogen ions (what pH measures). Unless you are using these meters for amusement, I certainly wouldn't trust them with expensive aquarium inhabitants.

Question:	I tested my shampoo and the top panel turned olive green. What does this mean? It’s clearly not anywhere near the blues on the top panel of the chart
Answer:	Those test strips are pretty useless! Assuming the ones you have are not expired, the accuracy is a long, long way from being helpful. After i wasted my money on these, i found the only solution was to spend close to $100 on a real electronic tester. They want you to believe ph testing is a simple thing if just fork over a few bucks.... Now you know the truth!

Answer:	Yes, these strips can be used for testing any chemical but, and I mean no offense, if you don't know that fact, you should consider how dangerous chemicals like HF - or any strong acid or base - are. At minimum, face and eye shields, rubber gloves and apron, plenty of ventilation, non-metallic tongs to hold the strips, for acid have plenty of water and baking soda handy to overcome any splashes or spill, vinegar if working with bases and safe disposal place - not down the sink.
