Answer:	Hi June - The 1831 has a new motor and the TurboBrush holder has been moved to the front of the vacuum.

Answer:	I don't know as my housekeeper does all the cleaning; but she says the Bissell 1831 is the BEST she has used. The Carpets ARE CLEAN.
Question:	Is it easy to clean clogs out of the hose
Answer:	I have 3 big dogs and it is much easier to clear the hose with a broom handle than most vacuums. I have had to take it apart under the vacuum a few times to clean the bristles and un-clog the base of the hose by the bristles. Thankfully all the screws are the same type so it's easy to do. To clear the base of the hose under the vacuum i just pushed the screwdriver through and it cleared it, I've only had to clear the bottom hose twice in the two years I've had it.

Question:	Which Oreck is best for residential use
Answer:	The only major difference between this and some of the lower end residential XL models of years past is the "Commercial" marking, the cord color, and the lack of a bag dock which can be retrofitted. It is also highly likely this can be upgraded to a two speed model by simply installing an Oreck 2 speed switch.
Question:	My daughters and i all have long hair that we have to cut out of the vacuum brush. How is this vacuum with hair
Answer:	Any vacuum with a rotating brush is going to get tangled with long hairs but this is actually a good thing. All upright vacuums have the fan that pulls the dirt in, in front of the bag so all the hair and stuff has to go past the spinning fan first. You can hear this whenever something hard is picked up and can be heard hitting the fan blades, not good. Any long hairs or string that gets past the rotating brush, is going to get tangled on the fan which you cannot get to, to cut them out. This will cause the fan to run hot and shorten the life of the machine.
Question:	I am about to buy the XL2100RHS but do not want to use the thin, cheap commercial bags. Is there a HEPA bag that fits this product

Answer:	Just jumping in here. We've had a few dysons (some second hand, others new) and I've always found them to be incredibly underwhelming. "But they last forever!" Maybe, but they don't do a better job than I've seen $150 cleaners do that still last for many years. The dysons were also unusable for stair cleaning and on the model I had, the brush would turn off when it was in full upright mode! Terrible design. I'm also pretty convinced they're not sealed that well for allergens. Their bagless design is also terrible. We're going to give this Oreck a try and see how it goes...

Answer:	Currently I have not used any accessories. I just use it as a floor vacuum, so I had to go looking for the accessories that came with it. I may not have found every single one that came with it, but I think I did, so the short answer: it comes with at least 5 attachments and a floor caddy. They are as follows: Dusting Brush (1185FC500), 12 inch Crevice Tool (X11FC500), Large Power Brush (X13FC500), Multi-Angle Dusting Brush (X15FC500), Straight Suction Floor Nozzle (XSN500), and finally the Canister Caddy (X16FC500). Question:	is it light weight
Answer:	That's difficult to answer as it's all relative. It seems light to me, but it might not to you. It weighs in at about 1 lb more than the comparable Dyson, so some might say its heavy. I don't pick mine up a whole lot, so 1 lb isn't a deal breaker for me. It weighs about 15 lbs. Your call on if that's light or heavy.
Question:	What about the filters? The infomercial never mentions them as far as need for cleaning, replacement, or ease of removing and cleaning
Answer:	We don't have this model, but do have a similar (cheaper) Navigator Lift-away model that recommends cleaning the filter every 3 months. We use it to vacuum a small professional office and an 1800-square foot home once a week. I clean the filter in warm water every 1-2 weeks as the foam one, especially, gets very dirty/dusty. It doesn't take long, but they do have to dry before next use so I usually do it the night before I vacuum, absorb excess water on a towel-rag, then leave to dry overnight. I'd rather wash it than tap it out as another user suggested because the I don't want the dust to fly everywhere after I went to the trouble of vacuuming. The HEPA filter to be cleaned every 12 months takes a lot longer to dry (few days) but that's ok since we clean it so rarely.
Question:	What is the difference between the navigator and the rotator
Answer:	I own the Rotator but have no experience with the Navigator. Googling comparisons though the main difference seems to be that the Rotator can be turned into a canister vacuum where the Navigator can only be an upright vacuum. Answer:	I can't say for sure, but I am a small woman 76 years old, weigh 105 pounds and I clean upstairs and downstairs carrying this vacum cleaner in a couple hours and it doesn't feel heavy to me, nor do I have any aches and pains from vacuuming. This vacuum cleaner is powerful and so wonderful.

Answer:	Approximate size is 7" long X 5" wide and 3" deep. Best part is the lids that fit the 4.7 also fit the 3.2 size container. PS...I absolutely LOVE these containers. They exceed any and everything I've ever brought and believe me I've brought plenty through the years.
