Answer:	Jason The gun parts cleaner is a good B- rating. Benefit is the size and cost compared to comercial products. They are bettery a little pricey and come in 5 gallon pails. heads up never use brass cleaner as a substitute it will destroy finishes.

Answer:	Hi, The solution, when mixed as directed w/ distilled water, does not leave a residue or harm the polymer. I have cleaned both my G19G4 and G21G4 with no problems and it does an excellent job. Know it's serious $ but I feel well worth it.
Question:	What is different between hornady lock n' load sonic cleaner solution, and hornady one shot sonic clean solution
Answer:	As previously answered, one is for brass cartridges and the other for gun parts. Why different? The one for brass cartridges will corrode gun parts, and the one for gun parts will leave a thin coat of oil behind, which you don't want on your brass.
Question:	Water? What about rust
Answer:	When you have completed the cleaning cycle, dry the parts by hand with a clean towel as completely as possible. You may need to spray some parts with compressed air to displace any small amounts of water that you were unable to dry with a towel. (The compressed air spray that is designed for cleaning computer cases works well). Then you have to be certain to apply oil completely, and a spray can of Rem Oil or Hornady Gun Cleaner and Lube works nicely. I have never had any problem with rust when following this process. Answer:	No, do not use on stainless steel. This product is designed to be diluted with water and have brass part submerged. It does not go in a tumbler.

Answer:	The bottle instructions indicates that the 16 ounces of concentrate will make over 2 gallons of solution when mixed with water. That ratio should apply to whatever amount of solution a person wants to make up.

Answer:	No! It contains sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, so it will etch the stainless steel, and dissolve it if left long enough.You may want to use the case cleaner, rinse thoroughly, and then use the Hornady sonic cleaner.

Answer:	It probably can polish plastic parts with the right polishing compound. It is designed to clean gunpowder residue from brass or nickel shell casings. That said, the only control one has is time. How long to obtain the desired outcome. This is done with plug in timers.

Answer:	No, get a rock tumbler for that. This is for fine polishing media on softer brass. It vibrates. Not sure of the media you need

Answer:	It can probably be used for that but it would think it would take a different polishing media for Stainless steel. The walnut shells are for polishing Brass and other soft metals. Not sure what that media would be. A jeweler could probably answer that.

Answer:	I received two XL50s with my order. One was labeled 139 lumens and the other 200 lumens. Otherwise, the packaging and flashlights are identical. I can detect no differences in brightness between the two. They are very bright. Unsure why varying lumens are listed among different website descriptions for the XL50. Mine appear to be identical.

Answer:	It's metal polish to be added to walnut media. It performs great on brass, but you can experiment and see what it does. My guess is you may be disappointed.

Answer:	Think this is for Brass polishing, you can probably find a copper polisher that would be a better fit. Tumbler's do not matter as much, they all vibrate and tumble.

Answer:	Never tried NU-finish heard it works well, the Flitz gives a great shine, but I switched to wet tumbling, expensive up front but cases come out like new inculding primer pocket if deprimed first, car wash and wax + citric acid for wet. I would say the Flitz is worth a try
Question:	Does this work well on stainless steel
Answer:	I used this and a soft cloth to clean the carbon deposits of a stainless steel barrel. The carbon deposits and other dirt came off the barell and I didn't see any harm to the barrel from using Flitz. Stainless is a lot harder than brass and copper so it shouldn't damage the stainless, but Flitz does a very good job of cleaning and fine polishing.

Answer:	I use one pod per load and get good results. Friends can’t believe how clean the brass is. They think it’s brand new. I have never used the liquid. So I cannot compare. Sometimes if it’s really nasty outside range brass. I run it twice with a second pod.

Question:	If you do not have a built in heater - how do you reheat used solution for further use. Solution that has been used once
Answer:	The Lyman Turbo Sonic heater I have has a heater. More importantly, I never reuse cleaner. After a 3 or 4 baskets of bras are cleaned the solution is definitely ready to be thrown out. I would not save solution even after cleaning one basket of brass.
Question:	Once a solution is mixed, about how many times can it be reused, if any
Answer:	I have used the brass cleaning solution 4 times with good results. I believe it depends on how much dirt accumulates in the solution. It can be filtered to remove large pieces of debris.
Question:	Which solution would be best for cleaning copper
Answer:	Sonic cleaner removes light tarnish, heavy grit and deep darkened brass is best in tumbler . I use both the sonic takes less time on once fired brass. It's a learning curve, trail by error..
Question:	How hot should this solution have to be to effectively clean brass
Answer:	Not very. My man cleaner gets hot but not boiling hot. I start cleaning brass as the cleaner is warming up and seems to work pretty well. Hot tap water is hot enough.

Directions:

Using the included scoop, reference the suggested dosages below for guidelines on how much detergent is needed to thoroughly clean your brass. Do not overload your tumbler as your brass will require additional cleaning cycles and premature motor failure may occur. Check brass every 15 minutes to determine if additional cleaning is necessary. After cleaning is complete, rinse brass by hand, or run a clean water rinse cycle.

Suggested starting dosages (you will fine tune this depending on your set up):

- For 1 quart (1 liter) drum, use 1/2 quart (1/2 L) of water and 1 teaspoon for lightly soiled brass or 2 teaspoons for heavily soiled brass

- For 1 gallon (4 liter) drum, use 2-3 quarts (2-3 L) of water and 1 tablespoon for lightly soiled brass or 2 tablespoons for heavily soiled brass

- Per 1 gallon (4 liters) of water, use 1 tsp + 1 tbsp for lightly soiled brass or 2 tsp + 2 tbsp for heavily soiled brass

Depending on the condition of your brass, local water quality, and drum load, more or less detergent may be needed. Experiment with different dosages to determine the optimal amount of detergent for your needs.

Answer:	I have used this in my sonic and wet tumbler they both worked well, YouTube has other methods that I may try. For now I am happy with the results from both with the sonic being less destructive to the cases.
Question:	Does this work with nickel casings
Answer:	Yes, brass shine is compatible with nickel plated brass cases. However, when cleaning nickel plated cases with our stainless steel tumbling media, the pins clean by burnishing the surface, which means that it's cleaning using abrasion. This will cause the nickel plating to eventually wear off the brass. Short tumbling cycles should be fine, but with any abrasive cleaning process, the cases will not have that polished, mirror-like reflective look to them anymore. But your cases will still be completely clean when using Brass Shine detergent.
