Answer:	It should punch a hole on the leather. We put a 2mm hole punch for this kit. This set includes 1000 sets (2000 pieces) of single cap rivets , the 9mm rivet die and 2 mm hole punch. You can see the instructions on the listing.

Answer:	The instructions how to use the press and the rivets are on the listing. The little wrench is to change or remove the bottom piece. Question:	What holds the top grommet in place during the press, is the top die magnitized
Answer:	I use mine in a two pass process. First I pre-punch the material (With the same die) without the grommet. Then I can just stack the three layers onto the punching peg and slowly press a second time. You will have to do a few test runs on scrap material to learn the male-female relationship for the dies. The pre-punch also reduces physical pressure needed to set the grommet if that is a concern to you. There is no need for a magnet or fingers to be in the area while pressing the grommet.
Question:	does this work for snaps also
Answer:	As sold this will not work for snaps. The set is made up of two parts: The press and the dies. The press will indeed press anything you place into it. That being said the included dies will not work on snaps. If you were to find some snap dies that were the correct size to fit this press it would work.

Answer:	I do not own this item, but I don't suggest using these on any high tension areas. You can find sturdier Chicago screws at Ace Hardware for under a dollar each.

Question:	Can this machine be used for 8mm Double side rivets
Answer:	This depends on if you can find the correct die for that rivet.
Question:	Do you have dies and hold puncher for 12mm rivets
Answer:	We have hole punches from 2 mm to 13mm. However, our rivet dies for single caps is 7mm and 9 mm and for double caps we have 9mm only. We have only snap button dies for 12.5mm.
Question:	Can you make pronged upholstery buttons with this machine
Answer:	We don't think so. The space in between top and bottom is not wide enough to put the prong in between the dies you will need to use.
Question:	Does this make fabric covered buttons
Answer:	Yes . But you need to have the dies for that.
