Answer:	Definitely not! The product dimensions state that it's 28 inches long, but I have a feeling that's the shipping size, and it will stretch somewhat longer than that, but NOT 8 feet!

Answer:	It includes connectors. They are simply pushed into place. They will stay if there is not too much tension on the unit. I had to duct tape mine for them to stay in place.
Question:	Is this a lot strong than the foil ones? My cat shredded 2 of those
Answer:	My cat too shredded the foil type, so I ordered this one. This cannot be shredded, its made very strong. I was unable to use this however, as the ends easily slid off in attempts to connect it to the "tubes". When it has to go from high to low connections (or low to high) its stiffness makes it hard to stay on. If the connection is pretty much vertical its easier. But like a previous comment, you will need something to secure it to each end, especially with kitties around!
Question:	Can the plastic end withstand the dryer heat? Can the flexible duct be cut to size and put the plastic end secyrely back
Answer:	Yes! The plastic end can withstand the heat. Now here comes the problem! When you try to cut the flexible duct it starts to unreaval and you cannot get it to stop when you try to work with it. I ended up just throwing it in the trash.

Answer:	No, it can't be reversed as others here have said, at least not without a lot of cutting and taping which sort of defeats the purpose. I had to return it and buy the 18-27 inch version instead.

Answer:	No cutting. It is already in two pieces. It slides up and down and slide it apart for what ever length you need. My husband is a contractor and said it does not need taped if you don't want to tape it. Fits tight. Hope this answered your question.
Question:	Is this 18" from the center of each opening to the other? Or 18" from the very end of the "box" to the other end of the "box"? I need to reach 17" from the exact center of each opening

Answer:	I'm not positive it is the right one. However, I replaced mine with the same one and it works great. When we first put it in, it was a tight fit, Now it works perfectly. My guess, if your old one looks like this one, it will work.

Answer:	Very sharp. I'm guessing it would bend 180 degrees in one foot.

Answer:	I would say possibly not a good use. The reason is this hose is not reinforced with wire and is quite soft and malleable. If the air intake volume is greater than the hose can structurally support, the hose might collapse. Only you know how it will be used. I would try and find a more rigid type of hose with wire reinforcement.

Answer:	The ID is a nice tight fit over the tail pipe of my '55 Chev. Being ribbed it is had to say just what the OD is. But is at least 1/4" wall thickness and is pretty heavy piece of hose.

Answer:	My opinion is, it is a waste of time & money.Mine crumbled and I never got it installed.Threw it away in anger!
Question:	how quick does it fill with lint
Answer:	The short answer is that it should not fill with lint. If the dryer is operating properly, it will maintain enough air velocity to carry the lint through the exhaust system to the outside. Inside your clothes dryer manual there should be a chart which tells you the maximum length of run and number of 90 degree turns which the dryer can expel the lint effectively. This periscope helps the dryer by providing rigid structural metal support so that crushing at the exhaust of the dryer into the wall should not be an issue. Then you need to follow the rest of the exhaust system to the outside to make sure there are no impediments. Thank you for your question.

Answer:	This periscope can install within 2.5 inches of the wall. However, please see the image with the function venting distance dimensions. Your wall vent must be within 5 inches of the clothes dryer vent for this 0-5 periscope to help you. Also, the crimped end of the periscope must slide into the wall pipe in order to achieve the tightest fit. If your outlet is not within 5 inches, there are longer periscope dimensions 0-18, 18-29 and 29-50 which are available and may help.

Answer:	The Zero to 5 periscope is designed with a 4" diameter draw band collar that connects to a clothes dryer exhaust. The crimped fitting is designed to go into a wall exhaust pipe. The material and diameters of the wall exhaust pipes vary widely. The age of the home is usually not an issue. The diameter and material of the wall exhaust pipe can be an issue, so it is important to measure first. The wall pipe should ideally be a 4 inch connection so that our slightly smaller crimped fitting with insert into it. If the protruding wall exhaust pipe is aluminum, it can help to cut a slit in the wall exhaust pipe so that the crimped fitting will insert and then, if possible, a clamp can be tightened around the connection if there is access. Then please remember, this 0-5 Periscope only extends a total of 5 inches from the center of the clothes dryer exhaust to the center of the wall outlet pipe.

The DryerDock is a dryer hose quick connect device to simplify connecting a dryer hose to the vent pipe. It consists of two parts, the dryer hose adapter and the vent pipe adapter.



The dryer hose adapter

The dryer hose slips over the dryer hose adapter in the same manner it normally slips over the vent pipe. The dryer hose may be fastened to the dryer hose adapter with a clamp, tie-wrap, or an adhesive.



The vent pipe adapter

In most dryer vent installations, the vent pipe protrudes from the floor, wall, or ceiling, about two or more inches. The DRYER DOCK vent pipe adapter mounts flush with the floor, wall, or ceiling. This requires the vent pipe to be cut off flush with the surface. The vent pipe adapter slips inside the vent pipe, and the flange is mounted to the surface with appropriate fasteners.

Answer:	Yes, will cut with scissors or tin snips.

Question:	will this fit my cordless dyson
Answer:	Only if your Dyson has a hose.
Question:	At the very top of the page it mentions brush and vacuum hose attachment. Does this come with a brush as well
Answer:	No brush comes with this but I can honestly say I use mine for the dryer, heat vents, under my hot water heater to remove all the dust build up and it’s amazing

Answer:	Depending on the type of vacuum being attached to this device, it would be possible. If something as a yard-stick is attached to the hose with a wrapped rubber band tightly securing the hose, it would be possible. Another varible to consider is the size, location and access to the refrigerator. Removing the lint and dust is time consuming, so be prepared to spend some time with the vacuum, vent cleaner, a bright light, and being eye level with the coils.
Question:	Will it fit on a Shark Rocket vacuum, like the hose part
Answer:	I used my shark navigator hose and it worked just fine.

Question:	Do you have to use the rubber sleeve. The unit slips on and off with ease however I don't want it popping off
Answer:	I felt that without the rubber gasket it would come off. It holds really tight with the gasket. Mine did come off without it. I slid the gasket onto the dryer first then pushed the ring onto it.
Question:	Can it be turned upside down to vent through the floor
Answer:	Yes, it can be turned upside down and attach the hose to connect to dryer. As long as it is a 4" beveled duct.
Question:	Can it be be turned to the side or does it have to be straight up
Answer:	Yes, you can turn it to the side to run the hose horizontally to the floor.
Question:	Would this product work with the xtremepowerus stainless steel tumble cloths dryer compact dryer
Answer:	as long as the exhaust duct on the dryer is 4", then there shouldn't be a problem. Refer to the owner's manual for the dryer to see if there are any special considerations for the exhaust vent.
