Even so, they are hollow with some circular and crosshatch ribs underneath, not solid. They work very well for their designed purpose of setting a stationary heat pump outside unit on, but they are not designed for the weight nor the movement of a 1/4 of a truck running onto and off of it. Suggestion: buy some 8 x 16 x 1 concrete block "toppers" at Home Depot and set them slightly above flush with the ground with a good substrate (compacted dirt, or sand, or crushed granite, etc) underneath. At about a buck apiece and a little outside labor, you could set up four spots of 4 blocks each for less than $20 and it would last a long time if you set them right; the worst is that they might crack if not set properly but easily replaced. |
