Question:	Does it withstand sun, high heat, and freezing temps
Answer:	It should hold for a decent amount of time... it's NOT a permanent tape but I've used it on all sorts of materials, cardboard, plastic, metal forseveral months and I had no problems. If you're talking about slapping a piece on a container and marking it "Kitchen" you're good.
Question:	Could this tape be used for making labels (that won't curl up or fall off) for plastic moving boxes
Answer:	As someone who has worked on stages and in studios, I can confirm that gaff tape won’t damage properly painted surfaces unless the paint is old or the subsurface is poor. However, gaff tape is not designed to withstand a lot of moisture on its adhesive side the way duct tape is. A little moisture is okay. It stands up well to “sweating” concrete, for example.
Question:	Would this work for taping plastic over windows in winter months without leaving residue or removing paint when removed
Answer:	Gaffer’s tape is probably the best type of tape for this purpose as the adhesive is meant to be easily removed from surfaces without residue. It also doesn’t stretch like duct tape, which I’d never suggest you use on any skin! There are certain brands of G tape that actually are less sticky than others, so look for those with complaint reviews about that. Good luck, and avoid the nips!
