Answer:	This filament can be used on the M3D, but it will not fit within the machine because the spool is too large.

Answer:	I have some empty spools that are 300g and some that are 245g

Answer:	From 210 to 225 is what I set it at on my printer. You will just have to play around with temps as every filament will react different even the same brand and color. Just be sure when you are done keep the PLA in a dry bag with the desiccant it came with.
Question:	how many meters is one spool
Answer:	Bear with me while I do some math on this one. From www.matweb.com, the average material density for PLA is 0.0473 pounds per cubic inch. So, a spool weighing 2.2 pounds should have 46.511 cubic inches in it. With a filament diameter of 1.75mm (0.06889 inches), the cross sectional area should be 0.003727 square inches. 46.511 cubic inches divided by 0.003727 square inches = 12,479.6 inches in length, or 316.9 meters. Does that seem about right?

Question:	Will sunlu silk filament prints fade or crack in the sun? if so, what type of uv protectant can be applied
Answer:	That is common to all PLA filament, haven’t tested for very long but I have an idol in my car made with this filament, the car remains in sun for almost 8-9 hours a day. I have not seen fading or cracking, but it has not seen the summer.
Question:	What temperature should I print this 3D printer filament at
Answer:	It's PLA. You don't need to heat your bed at all, and you should have the tip set to 200 degrees celcius, not 215. At higher temperatures, the plastic is far too malleable and will cause stringing. 205 is the max you would want it at. 200 is the minimum. Ideally run it at 30 millimeters a second print speed for 0.2 layer heights. 0.4 layer heights are ok to run at 60
Question:	Roughly, do you know the total length on a spool? I just need it for costing a project
Answer:	I don't know the length off hand, but there is a Pursa calculator that can help you with determining the real cost of the filament. See the Pursa web site: http://www.prusaprinters.org/calculator/ It uses the the weight or spool length, then calculates the cubic centimeters, along with the cost per cubic centimeter of that product.
Question:	Some of the reviews mention clogging due to dimensional inconsistencies. Is clogging a problem? I use a new Ender
Answer:	This filament is the second brand I tried on my Ender 3 and I have not switched back or tried any other brands. Works really well and is very strong pla. It runs a little better with the extruded set to 210c. I have not experienced a clog yet with this brand.

Question:	I've attempted to print with this several times. Each time it clogs in the nozzle it appears to become very brittle when it stays in the nozzle
Answer:	I've noticed this color is more brittle than any color I've used from them so far which includes blue, red, green, transparent blue and transparent red. It often snaps when I remove the spool and try to wind the end through one of the small holes on the spool. Haven't had a jam yet though. Printing at 212-215 since its abs.

Question:	The description lists 3 spools with 0.5kg of filament each. Why, please, does the description also say the total is only 1.1kg
Answer:	I just bought this set of filament. Each roll is 500g. That's just a little over 1 pound each. In total you are getting around 3.3 lbs.

Answer:	They REALLY should. I've no idea why they think this is a good business model. There are several colors I would like to buy from them, but have no need for the other colors in the bundle, so I'm not purchasing any. I did order ONE set that I badly needed a color of, but will probably be the ONLY time I'll do that. Seriously, they could have sold easily 6-12kg in rolls to me by now - and more in the future - if they'd simply let me pick the color I want rather than force 2 more down my throat that I don't need. Instead, they've sold me 1.5kg and I likely won't be buying any more. VERY bad business model.

Question:	What temperature should i print sunlu pla filament at
Answer:	Depending on what printer you are using as well as what type of hot end in that printer. This is strictly a trial and error setting. The temp range (200 to 230) is your starting point. I run mine at 205. There again you may find that suitable or you may want to run slightly hotter. My suggestion is make something small to test. Print it at 200. then print it again at 205 etc. Find the best results then lock that temp in your slicer program for future prints.
Question:	What temperature should i print sunlu 3d pla filament at
Answer:	It depends on your printer since the location of the thermocouple in the hot-end will give slightly different readings on different machines. On my MakerGear M2, I print all PLA filaments, including this one, at 215c with excellent results.
Question:	How should print settings be adjusted for sunlu pla+ filament compared to regular sunlu pla 1.75mm
Answer:	I had many issues with printing with this filament on my Ender-5. My heat towers were great up and down and so I initially selected a temp of 210C down to 200C and a bed temp of 45. I had ok adhesion but many prints would slip on the bed after a few hours printing or larger prints would lift from the bed. I eventually came across some users reporting that 228C hotend and 80C bed was working and so I gave it a try. Now I have this filament printing great and very few issues. Because of the increased bed temp it is important to reduce any drafts near the printer as rapid cooling can cause the print to warp and lift. I have experienced this once in the last 15-20 prints since I upped the bed temp compared to most other prints larger than 2x2 inches at 45C.

Question:	What is the recommended bed temperature
Answer:	I'm not sure if the manufacturer has stated a recommended temperature, but I can print this filament without a heated bed at all, and haven't noticed any issues. I generally print with the bed at 45 C, and have great adhesion. Occasionally I get such great adhesion that removing the printed piece is difficult. Then I just heat the bed to 100C, and I can pop it off pretty easily.
Question:	Does anyone know how long this roll is
Answer:	Approx. 1080 feet based on conversion from 1kg, I generally get about this length out of a roll since I keep a log book of each print and usage.
Question:	Are these food safe
Answer:	Any print will be porous and impossible to clean. Even if the material is food safe and the machine is cleaned thoroughly, your print will only be food safe once. You CAN print a mould and cast it with a food-safe material.

Answer:	I've never heard anybody ask that before... and I have no idea. It's a full Kilo though, and depending on how big your extruder nozzle is, the length is pretty much a non-factor as long as you're using it for 3d printing and not rappelling or some such.

Question:	What's the recommended temperature for a good print
Answer:	PLA prints well at temperatures of about 180 - 220°c .Don't leave PLA heated for too long as it will degrade and affect your print.
Question:	Does this print more like a grey, or a silver? Do the bed surfaces come out shiny or matte
Answer:	I print it at 210 and it comes out shiny at that temp. I have printed a calibration tower and the lower temps come out a bit more matte. Also it is more of a metallic medium grey than silver as I consider silver a lighter metallic. The bed surfaces come out glossy when printed on glass and satiny with a metallic sheen on painters tape.
Question:	Will it work with flashforge creator pro
Answer:	Yes but the hole in the spool is too small for the stock spool holders. You will need to either install a smaller spool holder on your flashforge (found on thingiverse) or do what I did and just put it on an external spool holder separate from the creator pro.

As a 3D printing manufacturer, we have always been devoting ourselves to making a better world via the 3D printing technologies. Although PLA is bio-degradablein certain circumstances, it still takes time and efforts to deal with it. We used to dispose our filaments which is not spooled enough for 1kg/(2.2lb) which was a waste and unfriendly to environment.

In 2021, with one year efforts, we invented the Loop-safe technology which can help us to use the “disposed filaments” as a portion of the raw material to make the new filaments without drop of the printing quality. Thus, the filaments were recycled, less carbon is emitted into our environment（and will reduce our carbonfootprint). According to the carbon emission calculator, it will reduce 2.07 lb (0.94kg) every roll, at least 440,924 lbs in total every year, equivalent to planting about 1,800 trees.   

We also applied basic packaging to this new filament to reduce the 2.2lb carbon emission for each roll to the world.

Why can't the filaments stick to the build bed? 

1. Check the temperature setting before printing;

2. Check if the plate surface has been used for a long time, it‘s recommended to replace it with our new one to ensure an strong first layeradhesion

3. If the first layer has poor adhesion, it is recommended tore-level the print substrate to reduce the distance between the nozzle and thesurface plate;

4. If the effect is not good, it is recommended to try printing the draft before printing.

Answer:	PLA is not food-safe, and no FDM 3D printed part can be cleaned well enough to be used for food, pet toys, etc. The grooves which form at each layer will trap bacteria and should therefore not be considered hygienic/sanitary for repeated use.

Answer:	I have a Heated Glass Bed and I find the best way to remove the print is to just let it cool down. After it gets to normal room temperature it just pops or slides right off. If I try it right after the printing it is next to impossible to get it off without destroying the printed piece. The Youtube Videos on this as well as other Printer issues that have been a very big help to me.
Question:	Do you know if there is an easy way to help with bed adhesion
Answer:	The optimal printing temperature of PLA filament is 215-230℃ for the Hot End and 70-90℃ for the plate. You can put some glue on the bed.
