Question:	I want to use a 3d printing wheel filament to use it continuesly but will it rotate the filament as i feed it
Answer:	Desktop 3D printers that use a spool have a more robust feed mechanism than this pen. If you have your spools set to feed very smoothly and easily, like on a ball bearing setup, you should be OK. Where you might have issues is with having the spool on a solid plastic rod type holder which can add more friction or with some brands of filament that are not wound as well as others and can bind which also could be a problem. If you can employ some sort of method of keeping some slack in the filament so you're not pulling straight off the spool that seems ideal.
Question:	once the pen is heated and the abs starts to feed through the pen stops and starts cooling down mid draw causing you to reheat and restart
Answer:	An update as we had not seen this question earlier, Robert R had the correct answer. There was an issue with some of the power adapters that were packaged last year where power could momentarily drop on speed settings less than full speed and the pen would return to standby mode. Any 3D Pen Pro sold after March 2019 will not have this issue, and if you have one from last year and see this then please email us at support@mynt3d for a replacement.
Question:	How bad is the odor from the filaments? Daughter with scent allergies
Answer:	ABS fumes are bad for you. PLA is better, no matter what filament you use you should use it in a well ventilated area. PLA has less of an ordor and is a corn based plastic that is considered safer by 3D print enthusiasts.
Question:	How offten does this pen jam and how do you clear it
Answer:	Hi John, the most common cause of a jam (in any 3d pen) is deformation of the filament. This can be caused by incorrect temperature settings or an irregularity in the filament, and what happens is the heat causes the filament deform so that is not the right size/shape to pass through the pen. Typically this can be resolved by backing out the filament, cutting off the deformed section and continuing. However sometimes, the deformed section pulls off and remains lodged in the nozzle. One of the great things about our pens is that you can pop off the service door, easily remove the nozzle, remove the deformed section of filament and the pen is good as new. The key to avoiding jams is using high quality filament, setting the temperature correctly and most importantly, if the pen stops feeding normally pause your work and back out the filament instead of trying to force it through the pen. Following these tips, you shouldn't ever have jamming issues.

Answer:	I always have our pen set to the PLA setting, around 190F and had zero issues with it.
Question:	What is the difference between pla and abs filament
Answer:	ABS filaments are more appropriate, like if you'll be printing something that needs to be VERY sturdy or it will be used in a hot place, like on a car dashboard. ABS filaments are more ideal for printing with 3d pens, because you are holding the pen and you are right up next to the plastic as it is being extruded, you aren't breathing in harmful fumes. The unpleasant smell from PLA filaments can be distracting and can cause headaches. PLA filament is not always a bad choice...if you have a 3D printer and you can leave a well ventilated room while it prints, it may be a good option for you. If you have kids drawing with their pen, ABS filament is non toxic, and a great choice.

Answer:	It's PLA. You don't need to heat your bed at all, and you should have the tip set to 200 degrees celcius, not 215. At higher temperatures, the plastic is far too malleable and will cause stringing. 205 is the max you would want it at. 200 is the minimum. Ideally run it at 30 millimeters a second print speed for 0.2 layer heights. 0.4 layer heights are ok to run at 60

Answer:	I don't know the length off hand, but there is a Pursa calculator that can help you with determining the real cost of the filament. See the Pursa web site: http://www.prusaprinters.org/calculator/ It uses the the weight or spool length, then calculates the cubic centimeters, along with the cost per cubic centimeter of that product.
Question:	What is PLA
Answer:	This filament is the second brand I tried on my Ender 3 and I have not switched back or tried any other brands. Works really well and is very strong pla. It runs a little better with the extruded set to 210c. I have not experienced a clog yet with this brand.

Answer:	Hi the build surface is a bonus, it‘s free so it's there but you can choose not to use it. :P We offer 200 x 200 as a gift is because it's the maximun we can get in the filament box so, sorry for the inconvenience. We will launch easy-to-use build surface soon, 300 x 300 will be available then.
Question:	Y did i only get 5 feet prr color when i bought 20 feet per color
Answer:	PLA is not food-safe, and no FDM 3D printed part can be cleaned well enough to be used for food, pet toys, etc. The grooves which form at each layer will trap bacteria and should therefore not be considered hygienic/sanitary for repeated use.
Question:	Does it work for 3D doodler start
Answer:	Would seem to be different. Question:	Will it work on a 3D printer
Answer:	That is common to all PLA filament, haven’t tested for very long but I have an idol in my car made with this filament, the car remains in sun for almost 8-9 hours a day. I have not seen fading or cracking, but it has not seen the summer.

Answer:	Double click the forward button to start and feed the filament through the back of the pen. Once the filament has reached the nozzle of the pen, click forward to stop the pen. Press the forward button once to start; click once to stop. Once you have completed your design, press and hold the reverse button to retract filament.

Question:	will the 3mm. filament work in my Morph pen
Answer:	Hello! I bought this filament for a different 3D drawing pen than yours. There’s actually 3 meters (not mm) of filament for each color. I googled “morph pen” and it looks like your pen takes 1.75 mm wide filament, which is standard. The filament you asked about is also 1.75 mm wide, so it should be good to use!
