Question:	What version is the board
Answer:	The newest version of the board is 1.1.5, it does not come with the printer though. Mine came with 1.1.4 which is very similar to the 1.1.3. Creality Sells the 1.1.5 separately right now as the Creality v1.1.5 Silent Main Board. It is $50 bucks and you might find it cheaper but it is a worthwhile upgrade. It has newer stepper drivers that make the stepper motors virtually silent. I can't hear them anymore only the fans now. The board also has thermal runaway enabled and has a boot loader preinstalled so if you wanted to switch to Vanilla Marlin or the TH3D software you could do so very easily. Installing this board and the TH3D software also made adding a BL Touch kit easy.

Question:	What is the physical footprint of this unit
Answer:	The actual base footprint itself requires a flat 12" x 12" surface, however certain parts such as the display panel overhang requiring a bit more space. A roughly 16" wide by about 20" deep space should be about right, although you will want to make sure both the back and front have an additional few inches to spare as the bed does move back and forth during operation. I mount mine on top of a 16" x 18" patio paver block for support and stability. I place the paver block over some dense foam that is cut about 1" in from the block edge (14" x 16"). This gives the printer a platform that helps contribute mass to absorb vibrations as well as offer a bid of noise reduction cause by sound transmission through the base. Placed a few inches from the back wall it also ensures the printer travel area remains clear. There is also YouTube video on using this technique if interested (not mine but I came across it after I came up with the same idea separately).

Answer:	It does come with a very old version of Cura. The lastest version of Cura is what I am using. Just download it from https://ultimaker.com/en/products/ultimaker-cura-software/list. If all you are doing is downloading models and printing this is all you need. If you want to make your own 3D models that complicates things. There are many, many 3d modeling programs and which one to use is a very personal choice and each takes time to learn to use. Blender is free, Sketch-up is also I think. But there are commercial programs that can cost up to a couple of thousand to use. Zbrush, Studio Max, and others. Answer:	My son is 15 and he handpicked this one as a gift. He doesn’t know that I’ve purchased it, but he was very adamant that this was the best one. If the recipient is very technically inclined, I think it would be a great fit. I’ve read tons of reviews and watched several on YouTube. Once it’s properly assembled ( does seem to take some time), then operation is suitable for a beginner (again, must be very technically inclined). My son did request a different type of filament that I also purchased on Amazon, because the included roll isn’t that great. I don’t remember which one I purchased, but it was about 20.00. He also suggested getting or building a table to sit it on, as you should not sit it directly on the floor. He’s making one to put beside his desk, but I’m sure any small table would do. I’m very excited myself to see it in action, but I guess I’ll have to wait until Christmas.

Answer:	It is very straightforward, but the downloadable PDF instructions leave a lot to be desired. I highly recommend using the top-rated "how to build" video, along with the PDF. Question:	Having problems with extruder about half-way through each of the first two projects. Advice
Answer:	First make sure you have proper heat. PLA I run at 198C. ABS 245C. Next make sure you have PTFE tube is all the way down to the bottom of the print head. PTFE tube goes about an inch or so down into the print head. If it is not fully in could cause heat creep melting filiment to soon clogging before it gets to the nozzle.

When attempting some larger prints, even a 3-second power outage could spell disaster for a model already 10 hours or more into a longer print. Design

Popular free to download slicing software such as Cura will divide or "slice" the 3D model into thin horizontal layers. A large multitude of previously designed 3D models are readily available on various internet websites for free. The software then creates a code that your printer can read and understand. Basically a set of instructions for the hardware in the printer. Save this "Gcode" file to a microSD card like a normal file. Many profiles are already available for use with the Ender 3 through Cura.

Ready

Upload the file to your printer via the microSD card. Ensure that the building surface or "hotbed" is level with the nozzle or "hotend" and start the print. The Ender 3 will automatically read the code in the file you selected and start extruding molten plastic filament onto the printing surface.

Answer:	This controller will work with both printers, but check your motherboard first. You must have two aux plugs in order to use the controller and SD card reader. The optimal card size is 4GB. If you plug in your board normally, and it does not work correctly, the plugs on the screen are backwards for the plugs on the motherboard. Simply file down the bumps on the end of the cable and plug in upside down, and it should work correctly.

Question:	What is the box size of the shipping package
Answer:	Mine came in a box approx 21” x 7 3/4” x 15”.
Question:	Can this connect with a chrome book
Answer:	Sorry, didn't exactly answer your question.It can connect to computer, but in my experience, it leads to a lot of unfinished prints. If your computer goes to sleep, or any number of things that can interrupt Cura, it stops printing and you lose the print. The SD card is the best way to go.
Question:	Do I take to foam off the hot end that ships. It's taped with Kapton tape so it looks like it's supposed to be that way
Answer:	That is not foam. It heat insulation. You should leave it there

Answer:	Have auto leveling but you have to buy the bed glass you can buy one in Amazon store go-3dprinter 235mm x 235mm .

Answer:	I know the Voxelab website has spare parts for sale. Also, one of the papers that came with the machine should have a contact website/number where you can just get more from them.

Answer:	yes this printer can print thingiverse .stl files you download and put on your sd card.. I use cura to slice or you ac use the provided software on their website, stated in the manual.. for a basic 3D design software you can use tinkercad (free). and then work your way up or try fusion 360 the free version

Answer:	Yes. But I would buy more filament. We ran out of that pretty quick. Also my son found it came with accessories to print. So that was cool.

Answer:	It's an Ender 3 v2 clone. Has a meanwell power supply, 2208TMC integrated stepper motor drivers. Mainboard is identical in layout to SKR MINI E3 V2.0 with the exception that it has NO heatsinks. It does have a cooling fan blowing across the main board.
Question:	what style of hot tip does it come with ie is it all metal? If not what type fits it for replacement
Answer:	It’s a bronze nozzle but if you look up the specs on it you can get different nozzles for other types of filament. I’m running the nozzle that it came with and I print with pla filament
