The grit is on four sides, the face and back for large areas and the narrow sides for tight areas, and works great for drywall surfacing after floating, easy to clean and reuse. It does not work well for wet sanding, clogs the pores. Hope this helps. |

| Answer: | I would assume you could but only a few are fine enough grit. You would want all very fine grit for that and only a few of the 12 are fine. |

| Answer: | Here is what came in the assortment of sanding blocks I received: They were labeled as 60, 80, 100, 120, and 220 grit. I would say 60 was coarse, 80 &100 medium,100 fine, & 220 very fine. Hope this helps. |
