Question:	Two questions. 1. Does the cleaning solution have an odor (I have allergies)? 2. Can this be used to freshen an oriental area rug
Answer:	If you have allergies and an Oriental rug, I would get rid of the rug!! If it is an authentic hand knotted rug- then it's wool!! If you have allergies you MAY be allergic to the wool itself. ALso, I would have it professinally cleaned- not because YOU can;'t clean it, but wool rugs are incredibly heavy when wet and terribly difficult to properly dry completely. Unless you have a big backyard and live in the arid southwest, I would not attempt cleaning. I have a large wool rug from Afghanistan I tried cleaning myself (you have to use natural SOAPS AND NO ARTIFICIAL DETERGENTS!!) on wool- it weighed a ton when wet and took FOREVER to dry on a very hot wall in 114F degree summer heat. The wool just smells when it's wet, like a wet dog (wet sheep actually ;) so, next time it will be done by a pro who has the equipment, tools and dryer for them.

Answer:	I just read that the difference between the two: the 1785W is 3000 RPM's and the 1785A is 3500 RPM's.
Question:	Can you use your own solution
Answer:	I have a 20 yr old carpet cleaning Bissel and I use my own solution. Of course the manufacturer will only endorse their own cleaning products. They can't guarantee the results if you use something else. I use 3% hydrogen peroxide with hot water. Use a 1 to 5.5 ratio. (1 peroxide to 5.5 parts water) It cleans, disinfects, and is great for pet stains. Won't hurt your machine using this formula. Hint: Try a 1 to 1 ratio in a spray bottle for cleaning your shower, bathtub and tiles. It kills mildew on contact, nixes the scum on glass and brightens your tub.
Question:	Can this be used for dry vacuuming? And how does this clean grout between tile lines
Answer:	I have tried this for dry vac and tile grout. First off, it is really meant to suck up water. Yes, it will do large items on the floor but not fine dust and dirt from every day. It will suck it up with the water though. As for grout, if you have deep crevice grout, as in the grout is not flush with the top of the tile, you will still need to scrub the grout. I have both and then I also have uneven stone that has pores and crevices in the tile itself and it also doesn't do well on those but it does better than a regular mop EVER did.

Answer:	I love, love, love this vacuum for furniture and use in the house. I have a Great Pyranees/Akbash (LOTS of white hair). It does not do so well on the carpet in my car. Everything else in the car like the seats and doors it is ok.

We’ll show you how: Turn the power off. Hold the hand vacuum vertically and press the release button to release the dirt cup. Remove the filter by grabbing the tabs and pulling up from the dirt cup Empty dirt into a waste container After heavy usage, remove any pet hair or dirt and debris from the filter and hand wash under warm water. Wash and rinse the filter gently and leave it out to dry. Once dry, replace the filter and attach back into the dirt cup until it snaps into place You may now re-attach the dirt cup to the hand vacuum Your dirt cup and filter are now empty and clean. Answer:	Yes...it comes with both the washable pads and some disposable ones to try. But I went ahead and bought an extra set of washable pads to always make sure I have a clean set.

Answer:	I don’t know the other model, but mine doesn’t pick up much more than pet hair and dust. I only recommend it for pet hair removal.

Answer:	Not efficiently. It will swivel around corners and picks up by the suction on each corner of the vacuum head but takes some effort on my part. I don’t recommend it for general cleaning. Works well on pet hair and small, fine particles

Answer:	Sort of. The brush-to-pulley belt broke on my 2x Revolution pet model. I ordered this w/o realizing this product does not fit the Pet model. However, I got lucky. The larger of the 2 belts fits the brush to pulley. Also, this product on amazon is cheaper than the one belt on bissell web site. So I was able to replace the brush to pulley belt and get my machine working again.

Question:	Is it for 220 volt electricity, how long does it hold it's charge, is it bagless
Answer:	Its 110 volt. I don't know how long it hold its charge I only use it for spot clean ups. It is bag-less.
Question:	How well does this pick up on carpet along baseboards? Cat box located in corner and litter is right at baseboards
Answer:	This is a sweeper, not a vacuum. It does not suck the dirt up. It prefers harder surfaces. If you are looking for something to pick up on carpet and along baseboards, you'd be better off getting a vacuum. It does pick up kitty litter fine thiugh, just on hard surfaces.
Question:	Is this sweeper very loud? if not which one is quiet
Answer:	This sweeper is quiet, however if it seems to be making a little noise check to see if it needs cleaning out. Manufacturer suggests empty after each use and check your brushes. It's amazing how it picks up.
Question:	Does this work well on hardwood floors
Answer:	I don't have hardwood, but I don't see why it wouldn't. It works well on other non-rug surfaces.
